No trap, everything mentioned in the description is correct.I bought another one last year and it works like a charm. It does not bug, it saves space, does not consume a lot and has a big memory easy to use. Mine is dark grey.Plugs are usbc, except for one in the back and front. There are internet and hdmi too in the back. Very good price for great performance

This is for the Beelink EQi12 Mini PC Intel i5 12450H version. So far it's a great little box for the start of a small media server hub. On the i5 12450H version, you get the Intel Quick Sync Video that can hardware accelerate media file encode/decode conversions which is key to smoother media server tasks.I do want everyone to know that regardless of what the listing says about drive limits (2TB per NVMe M.2 SSD drive limit), I was able to install a Crucial P3 Plus 4TB NVMe M.2 SSD in the second M.2 slot inside and it recognized it just fine. I just had to go to Computer Management in Windows, Initialize Disk and create a partition on the second drive. No BIOS changes needed.I will update this review over time.

I thought it was slow because it needed a memory upgrade. Not true, just slow. I am at 32 GB now and still slow. The Intel Iris GPU is thr next suspect but I don't think it is upgradable.

Paired with a USB hard drive, these make excellent NVRs for Blue Iris installations. The largest installation is sixteen 1080P IP cameras as well as a card access system, and it handles the task easily, typically running at only 20-25% CPU capacity.The first time I got one of these, I used it out of the box on an isolated VLAN for testing. It configured a fresh installation of Windows 11 Pro and was up and running quickly. I monitored it for a couple days and detected no unexpected network activity and no signs of viruses. Since I am using this for a business, I still make it a point to format the internal drive and install my own version of Windows.For home use, this would make an excellent Plex server. For normal people, it can handle more 1080P streams than you'll ever need. I was able to test it with three 4K transcodes (down to 1080P) and it handled it easily, only hitting 30% CPU.

Avoid this product and company at all costs! I bought this computer in December 2023 as a secondary device, and it's been nothing but trouble. At first, it worked fine, but then it started shutting down randomly during Zoom calls. I thought it might be a software issue, but the problem got worse even when not using Zoom.Now, this piece of junk barely stays on for a few minutes before crashing. It's not overheating, and the fan seems fine, so it's clearly a major hardware defect. The worst part? Their customer service is absolutely atrocious!Because I reported the issue just after the 12-month warranty expired, they completely washed their hands of the problem. They had the nerve to tell me to find a local repair shop, where fixing it would cost more than this worthless machine is worth!As a software developer, I've used many PCs and NUCs, and this is by far the worst I've ever encountered. I will never buy from this brand again, and I strongly urge you to avoid them too. Save yourself the headache and money - stay far away from this company and their shoddy products!

This little computer seems well constructed and works very well. If the hardware proves reliable, I will be very happy with the ROI on it. For my needs, 16 GB RAM is just fine. I ordered the 1 TB storage version and immediately installed Ubuntu on it, completely erasing the preinstalled Windows which is not suitable at all for my needs. I treat this like a NUC in my homelab; it serves as the "compute" layer. What that means is I run many server applications on this device in docker, including Plex. Plex easily leverages the GPU for transcoding. Bulk data storage resides elsewhere in NAS units that I NFS mount to this device.

I've been using this computer for about a week now and have not had any problems with it or the operating system. It is much faster than the previous i3 intel I was using and so far windows 11 has been an improvement over windows 10. I had to change to this computer because I started using a 4K monitor and my previous computer was not able to play 4K video without issues. This i5 intel is enough to do this without issue. I added a 1tb hard drive and did have some difficulty finding out how to get windows 11 to recognize it. This computer cost less than the one I bought in 2018 and considering inflation, it was much less.
