Good sound easy to use

So this is an easy to hook up auto sound system for your RC car. When it worked it was actually pretty neat (EXCEPT FOR THE TERRIBLE BRAKING SOUND) that was a turn off for me also. After a couple days passed the thing went crazy. It would be full throttle while sitting still. Or while going forward the terrible braking noise would just go continuously. I requested a replacement which did arrive but the same issues where immediately happening. I tried hooking it up to several remotes/receivers, ESC’s, and motors to which the device responded the same. It was erratic and did not save the last sound chosen. So the second was returned as well. It was a total waist of two days trying to figure out why it would not work as it first did.

The media could not be loaded. I have bought these units in the past. Total I have three of these now but the one that I have most recently ordered does not behave like the previous two that I have.Under the main features, item number 5 does not work correctly please see below.“ 5: Built-in memory chip, each time it is closed and reopened, the last used sound will be read, and there is no need to cycle and press it again.”I ordered one of these units a couple of weeks ago and when it came in I found that the memory chip does not work so I need to cycle through the different sounds to find the one that I prefer for my vehicle. Every time I turn off the vehicle, I have to cycle through to find the correct exhaust sound. Also, it seems on the quieter exhaust sounds if you turn the steering wheel lock to lock then you will get feedback through the speakers.I did reply to the seller who was very good to communicate back with me and said that this is no longer a feature of this unit and they have told Amazon to change the description but it was never done, but the description still has feature number 5 on the product page which is not correct.I did ask for a replacement sound unit and the one I received behaves the same way. So I guess that’s just the way it is now. I’m not completely satisfied so I actually took the sound unit out of one of my older cars and put it in my newer RC vehicle that I’m currently using as that one does have a working memory chip in it. It’s the exact same unit and I may have even bought it from the same seller as well. Somewhere down the line the product has been changed but not the description on the product page.Overall the different sounds that you get are good for different types of vehicles. I’m a little disappointed that the memory chip does not work because I’m worried that if I keep having to cycle through the different sounds to find the one that I want, I’m worried that the button that I push will eventually wear out. The feedback sound through the speakers is OK for now. For the price I paid I can’t really complain too much.

Hooked up correctly to throttle input (double and triple checked). Makes engine sound but does not change with acceleration or brake. Looks like false advertising to me!Update: after hooking it up to another rc car it works as it should. Must not be compatible with certain types

4 out of 5 units purchased have a problem with the memory chip. Sound had to be reset each time the car is turned on.

All it does is keep starting, it worked 1time and then it just keeps starting and runs a half second then you hear the starter again over and over. Everything in the box moves around and you can't access the button and volume unless you push in on the wires really cheap junk waist of money

I was hoping for the hard start & deep rumble of a large diesel engine to put in my tugboat. Disappointed

Got this to add engine sound to my grandsons 12v ride on jeep, it’s great once he turns the key it sounds the starter motor and then revs and ticks over, he loves it! It was simple to add just used a servo tester to connect it and the power to the servo tester was 5v. From a 12v to 5v RC electrical part , the key ignition just puts the 12v to this and engine starts . Added benefit was two speakers better sound.

So after a week of back and forth with seller as wasvgetting ghe ssne issue as others. No throttle change they say. You will need s 2nd receiver and esu. To make this work ! (Radio set installed futaba 4channel and hobbywing sensored esu and motor )Then wanted me to pay yhd shipping back to China at £35 ..thankfully. Amazon stepped and refunded Me when I escalated.
