MAJOR PSA FOR THOSE WITH MIC ISSUES (READ THIS!!!!)
I noticed there is a handful of people out there complaining about the mic stop working or begin having intermittent issues. So read this...I purchased one of these Kraken V3 Pro headsets from a thrift store of all places. It didn't come with a dongle so I had to purchase a used dongle (RC30-0346) one off eBay. I used Razer's headset pairing utility and paired the two. Upon testing the mic I noticed it was not picking up any sounds no matter the settings in windows and/or Synapse. However, the mic worked perfectly fine when the headset was directly plugged into my PC via the three notched aux cord.I then proceeded to update the firmware on both the dongle and headset thinking maybe the mic not working was a firmware issue. Note: in order to update the firmware you must exit Synapse completely. I remember at one point the green "Next" button was darkened but I went ahead and clicked on it and it proceeded to the next step in updating the firmware. The issue continued to persist.I then decided to purchase another unit (this one) refurbed. The mic works perfectly fine out of the box, no issues what so ever. Now that I have both units side by side the new one (refurbed unit) notably has a tighter fitment whereas the thrift store one with the mic issue looks stretched and widened. Conclusion: these headsets must be treated gently when taking off and put on the head. DO NOT grab it from one ear cup and yank it off your head because doing so will deteriorate the cable inside the head band which is responsible for the mic to function properly wirelessly. Also Razer customer service was unaware of this issue.

READ - IMPORTANT FIRMWARE UPDATE
I received my Razer Kraken V3 Pro (wireless) and first had a lot of issues getting it to connect to Razer Synapse and issues getting it to connect to the PC. Moved past that and finally got the haptics working. Then about a day later the haptics started buzzing when they would move. Like a springy noise. I thought for sure they were broken as I purchased a renewed model. The firmware on my headset was 1.00 and 1.6 was out. I updated the dongle and headset presto everything so far is fixed. No more buzzing no more connection issues.I have a Razer Blackshark V2 Wireless as well and I must say the Kraken V3 has much better bluetooth connection distance wise. The haptics are everything it makes the battlefield jump out at you. It makes music have some punch to it. Definitely worth it, but there are improvements to be made. The haptic vibrators need to be able to be calibrated so sometimes they aren't un-equal between the 2 ears. it's also worth noting the battery life given the mechanical moving parts is only about 6 - 8 hours depending on your use of the haptics, but that's a lot of gaming. One final thing is sometimes the headset's haptics works while it's charging other times it wont.Overall I can't wait for Razer's next Hypersense headset and for now this one has pushed my Blackshark V2 aside.

Quality
This headset has a nice weight to it. It is made of good quality materials and sounds real nice. The RGB lights are nice and as for the haptic feed back the best way I can describe it to you is… it feels like you’re in a car with a nice pair of subwoofers. You feel the beat to a song, you can hear and feel when you swing a big heavy sword in a game such as elden ring and lords of the fallen. The Bluetooth connection is relatively strong so you don’t need to worry about it disconnecting if you walk off from your gaming set up. All in all it’s a great headset and honestly if you want to get this headset do yourself a favor and buy it, I promise you will not regret it.

Decent
I'm comparing these to a set of Steelseries Arctis 7's I have used for years and years now.(1)The ear pads fully cover the ears but are a bit stiff. They are still comfortable, but because they seal so tight, they can get a bit sweaty and uncomfortable. I give them a 6/10 for comfort when wearing them for longer sessions. The softer pads on the Steelseries are just more comfortable.(2)Battery life is abysmal. 6 hours and they are done and they take quite a long time to charge. So if you game a few hours, set them on the desk and walk away, come back and game a few more hours, or watch some movies or such you are getting close to needing to charge. Unacceptable. I can use my SteelSeries all day and never need to charge them. 3/10.(3)Haptics. It's a total gimmick. It just vibrates your ears and will probably make them itch. And those haptics drain on the battery that much more, so you better remember to hook them up to charge every single time you take them off. 1/10.(4)Microphone. Sounds pretty good but you have to detach it when not in use. It doesn't slide up into the case as most good sets do. I don't want to have to track down the damn mic when I need it in some drawer. I want to reach up, pull it out, and use it. 5/10.Overall it's a decent pair of headphones if you can get them on a deep sale. The battery life means you will be a slave to the charging cable and the haptic feature is useless. Mine are sitting on a shelf and I am back to the trusty Steelseries.

I didn't know what I was missing!
The title sums it up. Sounds are crisp and clear, haptic feedback increases the immersion factor, and the ear cups isolate you from the environment. These are superior headphones, period!

Good sound. Wireless and wired (bad wireless connection - snap, cracle, pop)
Was actually sent Razer Barracuda X headset (2021)(not Razer Kraken V3). However it sounds real good and as a bonus it has wireless. Reviews say Barracuda is better than Kraken too. I don't know but it sounds good to me (not an audiophile). I will update if something changes.Update: wireless has low snap, cracke, pop. Not loud but noticeable. Returned forRazer BlackShark V2 HyperSpeed. Flawless connection anywhere in the house. No snap, crackle, pop.
