Sizing: I wear a 18/20 in pants, 3X in shirts, 48 DDD in bra. I was not sure what size would fit best based on the sizing chart so I ordered a 6X and a 7X. The 7X fit loose on top and was too long in length. The 6X fit perfectly.Recommendations: I recommend wearing a push-up bra with a little space or a gap in the chest area because the overlapping in the top chest area will show the bra. I also recommend wearing strap heels or strap wedges, because pointy shoes and closed toe heels close the look too much, in my opinion. I also wore a tummy slimming undergarment, which helps smooth out to look.I wore this dress to a wedding in Sedona Arizona. The temperatures were 80° during the day and 56 during the night I did not have to takeoff anything extra and I was very comfortable during the night. The dress is very well-made. It has stretch to the top portion, and the bottom portion had absolutely no fall out.

Y’all! Buy. The. Dress. !! For the price, you will NOT find anything better! It is absolutely lovely. Drapes well. Fits well. The top is heavier than expected and has a little “give” to it. I added a belt to dress it up and am so pleased with the purchase. I ordered the 22w and it’s plenty large enough, true to size. Very pleased with this purchase!

This is a lovely gown with just enough sparkle to catch the eye without being ostentatious. The fabrics are soft and silky. The sleeves and skirt are long enough to make it comfortably through a short time in chilly weather. The skirt flows beautifully with your movement. But!The bicep and shoulders on the top were tight. Like pulled tight enough to see through across my shoulders. My arms are very large, and I could have lived with the tightness since there's so much stretch in the fabric, but there was more to this fail.Yall, I took measurements before I ordered. I reviewed the size guide, which was really only useful to me with the waist measurement. I ordered a size up to make sure there was plenty of room to be comfortable while sitting, driving, etc. I looked like a tube of toothpaste that had been squeezed from the middle. There is no shape wear on earth that could have possibly rescued that situation. Once it was off and I could get a full breath again I realized I would never survive several hours in it. It was so bad I actually didn't attend the event I bought it for.

I spotted this dress as I searched for an outfit to wear for formal occasions. What caught my eye was the lovely lace over the beige underskirt and the empire waist cut. I'm only 5'2" in height and apple shaped, so most formal wear needs massive alterations to fit me. Not so with this wonderful dress! The length came down to my ankles giving me a full length without worry of tripping on my heels. The waist was a true empire style which fits my apple shape perfectly. The black upper part of the dress fit well except for the wrap area. It was loose on me due to my not being quite so busty. However, I wore a comfortable black sports bra under it which gave me the support and modesty I prefer and seamlessly worked with the upper black fabric of the dress. While the waist was not stretchy, I followed the size directions and ended up with a perfect fit. I sat, danced, and hung out at the party in total comfort while I received many compliments on my attire.I am giving serious consideration to purchasing a second dress although I only attend a few formal events each year. All three versions are beautiful and unique. If you are like me, short and apple shaped, I would recommend this dress to you.

Okay plus sized ladies, but more importantly, PEAR shaped ladies! If I were rich, I would start a clothing line just for plus sized, pear shaped women. It is SO hard to find dresses that fit right. If they fit around my very large hips, I'm swimming in the top portion and vice versa. If the top fits, I can't even pull the bottom portion over my hips! Anyway, I am a youthful 63 year old. I wear a size 3X and read some reviews that cautioned to not buy a size up from your regular size so I didn't. I purchased a size 22 and was positive that it would not fit. I was very wrong. The top fit me like a dream, the waist fit perfectly, and the skirt portion had more than ample fabric that drapes well without looking bulky. My husband took a double take and loved it. I feel beautiful in this dress and have three weddings coming up so I will wear it to at least one, and keep it as a staple in my closet for special dress up times. Note that every review on this dress with photos depicted the lighter color sequins but I opted to get the skirt with the black sequins as I feel it matches the black top better. I feel I made the right choice for my style. It's very elegant and classy and sexy and as another reviewer mentioned, that front does not gape open and has the perfect amount of coverage with the right amount of cleavage. The 3/4 length sleeves cover my upper arms and make me feel more confident. Someone else commented on the dress feeling cheap and "swishing too loud" (were they in church?) but I disagree. It is well constructed and solid for the cost. I love this dress and I hope it's in stock for a while since I'm losing weight slowly and will eventually need a smaller size. FYI, I shopped Nordstrom and Macy's and found NOTHING. Came home depressed and had this dress in two days through Amazon. Can't beat that! I will post pics once I'm wearing it to go out!

Pay very close attention to the measurements guide. I normally wear a size 24 or 3x and I went with a 6X for this dress and it fit perfectly. It’s very pretty and looks more expensive than the cost.
