Zhiyun Smooth 3 3-Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer for Smartphones (Updated)

The built is sturdy. The battery is good quality and large 4600 mAh. Why less 2 stars. Do not expect it works as advertised. It's difficult to focus and follow the target person. You will find only hand holding the iphone would make a better job. Especially shooting the moving object, you would find the response of this handheld is too slow to follow in motion event. Sometimes, it spins around 360 and ruins the work. It does not allow you to attach a professional microphone like Zoom iQ7 for music event. The usage is very limited. It will be an extra big stuff for your to carry. The teeth of the mechanic will easily be destroyed if the spinning is blocked by your hands or what.I finally resold it. Zhiyun will not allow you to resell it. It's very bad.

Product as advertised and it arrived on time.

The product packaging was clean and exuded a premium feel. I had originally planned to purchase the Zhiyun Smooth Q, but decided on the current Smooth 3 due to the better payload. My Motorola Moto z fit perfectly and remained securely in place as I moved the gimbal. The weight of the gimbal can be intimidating at first, but with practice, it was quite easy to use with the weight of the metal providing stability. It's a great product for new users such as myself who are interested in producing high quality footage with a phone for regular use. I had a lot of fun filming my beagles, and with the gimbal's help, the home footage came out fairly smooth. It's also great for panoramic shots.

The Smooth 3 smartphone gimbal is very well made and performs incredibly well!It has all of the features you want, but none that you don't need.The gimbal can move 360-degrees and doesn't make a sound. This is important when recording sound from your phone.Zhiyun is a very helpful company and their customer service will be there to answer any questions you may have about their products.I can't say enough good things about this gimbal!
