The unit is quite decent for the price. The lights come in a separate box and are optionally stuck on— so you can leave them off if you don’t like them.The unit arrived, 3 days early, in boxes that were quite destroyed from many angles, edges, corners, but it had been well packed and there was no damage to the unit.The parts come labelled with little numeric stickers and the paper instructions are good. Our parts were incorrectly labelled meaning that some of the white edges were to the back with un-veneered particle board edges to the top/ front. So WARNING: you can’t just follow instructions, but need to lay it all out and sanity check whether anything needs to be swapped around. Mechanically following the instructions (I.e. trying to be fast and efficient) might lead to a suboptimal result.There are a lot of metal dowels to screw in to the unit! This takes quite a long time. Like with an IKEA flat pack there are then little cylinders that are turned and pull the metal pegs/ dowels tight. Weirdly, when tightening the cylinders to the proper point it really crunches/eats/flakes/destroys quite a lot of the white veneer around the cylinder. These are mostly out of sight so no big deal, but the proper level of tightening is very alarming the first few times.As would be expected, the tightening cylinders that grab the metal dowels are pretty low quality and easily crack and break. Fortunately there were 2 extra in the pack !You can’t expect much at this price. Once fully assembled the product is fit for purpose and it satisfied our teenager.

I’ll be honest, after having this desk for months it’s 50/50. The desk was pretty time consuming to assemble and it is 100% value for money imo but if you’re looking for quality on steadiness, maybe skip. The desk is not steady at all like it is extreamly wobbly and the desk has in fact yellowed decently quick (I don’t smoke for context) the lights can become very glitchy if you move them by accident but all In over these things don’t bother me, you get what you pay for and I’m happy with my purchase, it comes with lights, a desk, a stall and the sticky things for the lights which stay sticky for a while even if the light falls off (they stay on but sometimes I pull them by accident) I’d say go for this personally as it is great value for money it’s just the steady ness which gets me, also the stall can hold a lot of weight (I’m 15 stone and it’s held me very good every time)

amazing quality for money! lights are my own but this piece is exactly as described was a bit skeptical as for the lack of reviews so that’s why i’m writing one! just so lovely and pretty defiantly 100 percent recommend!
