These work quite well. Like any other, in order to not have them on too tight, cutting off circulation, one occasionally slips off, but that's to be expected. They don't slide as easily as socks with no grip, but they do tend to slip and slide some. They're also very breathable, and hand-wash very well. Compared to others I've tried, I highly recommend these. These are also one of the few that I've tried that were actually small enough to fit our Chihuahua. They're not perfect, so I was going to go 4 stars, but compared to and considering so many others that I've tried, I'm giving them 5 stars.

We bought these for our jack rat mix to use while playing on the patio and swimming, thinking the light mesh wouldn't interfere with his paddling and splashing and still protect his nails from filing down to the quick again. The fit seemed fine until they got wet, then they kept twisting around. The mesh fabric shredded easily from the concrete decking, leaving big holes in the sides where the pad of his foot would be after they twisted. They also slipped off after about 15 minutes of swimming. Pros are the lightweight fabric didn't take long to get used to at all and the foot pad part seemed to hold up well. Cons are mesh fabric didn't hold the shape when wet and active, leading to twisting and fabric destruction.

Well what can I say…. I’ve been on a search to find shoes for my 5.5lb toy poodle. Most shoes are too big. I’ve tried maybe 10 different types of shoes. I liked the Lavasox (retail $67) a lot because they were well made but even the smallest size were too big. These hit so many marks. They are soft and actually fit my dog! He took to them right away and we went on a 2.5 mile walk. But they already are breaking at the seam. I know they won’t last longer than a few walks. But for $10 I guess that’s expected. I wish the company would make better quality shoes and maybe charge a little more because these are definitely only a few wear type of shoe. I guess that’s okay because they are the best fitting shoe. We got the smallest size.

I really liked these, the soft bottom seems much better for the dogs than the hard rubber kind. I ordered 2 pairs for my two little dogs. 7ish lb. Chihuahua-minpin mix and a 5ish lb Chiweenie.Their feet freeze when it's slushy out and I have to go retrieve them from the middle of the yard. These worked great. They did walk funny at first, but they don't really seem to mind them anymore. They are a little roomy (my littles have long skinny paws, boots are pretty round) but stay on just fine . I did trim the excess length of the velcro (their legs are very skinny) and remove the top strap, as it fastened just at the ankle joint and didn't seem comfy for them.This is our second year with them, but they aren't getting heavy wear and tear.We've recently added an American Bulldog pup to our family, and I will be getting her a pair as soon as I find the right size

Overall, these boots work well. I purchased 3 pairs right before the Polar Vortex of 2019 hit the Midwest for my chihuahua and 2 corgis. The chihuahua is about 10lbs or so, but she has very skinny chicken legs and the corgis are 25 and 35lbs. As others have mentioned, the velcro straps are very long and may need to be trimmed. That is the only reason why I didn't give these a 5-star. They just take a lot to put on. But having the velcro helps keep them on there little legs and I am not entirely sure I want to trim any off.For functionality, all 3 were able to go outside to do their business successfully with the boots on without getting what we refer to has hurty paw. They does walk funny with the boots on, but they gets used to them, especially if we distract them with food.I am satisfied with these boots and happy that we have them for her, especially living in WI where the temps can get pretty cold. I would recommend them for dogs with longer legs as they do have the ability to stay on their legs with the massive amount of velcro strap provided on each boot. In the case of the corgis, it is hard to keep the boot in place because their legs are short, even with the amount of velcro provided.

I'm sure they would do just fine if you have an older less active dog or only use on grass. However, our puppy loves to run and we tried these shoes out on the pavement and at the tennis courts and they did not do well. We have a 9 lb mini aussiedoodle for reference.

I am currently training a Service Dog, he is a Great Dane/German shepard.Wearing boots as part of his gear is a necessity sense he is outside alot. It can get either really hot or really cold where i live. I didn't want his paws to get hurt from the weather so got these.He is 12 weeks old, about 22 lbs and wears the medium at the moment, but will have to be upgrading to the large soon.These are pretty easy to put on, even if your pup has dew claws still. They are breathable but also water proofed well. These do have a rubbery soul, but these are also soft souls wich are much better for my boy then the regular thick souls.His feet are huge and have alot of bend to them, so alot of the harder soled shoes do not fit him right. These are perfect. They bend with his foot, wrap around nicely so it is tight but not painful and they dont come off if on properly.He took to these ones in just a few moments and didn't have an issue learning to walk in them. These have already protected his feet from glass, sharp rocks and hot pavement. Def worth the money for them. I will definitely be up grading to the larger size with this brand!For the price, definitely get them! Just make sure you measure your pups foot properly ❤

Very thin, the double straps are soooo frustrating get stuck on all parts of the boot so can't do them up after one use the material wore off a bit, fits to big, keeps sliding off half way no matter how tight. The medium for a large dog summer only not winter....

Used once. Too soon to say anything except that they fit and appear to be good quality.

A little difficult if your dog/puppy is squirmy, but they fit well! Trick we use is to wake them up after a nap and put it on while they’re still sleepy!
