This accessory for my mail also keeps cold winter air from rushing in. I could not figure out how to stop the drafts and then I saw this mail catching bag. The fabric is actual fabric and not plastic. It was easy to install and I purchased one the same color as my door so it is unobtrusive. This was an inexpensive and somewhat elegant solution to a problem. I came back from a week away and all my mail was in the bag.

I put this on my 83 year old Mom’s door. Super easy to affix and the material is very soft. It looks great and it is very easy to retrieve your mail from either side of this bag. This bag will easily hold 2 weeks worth of mail and you know those people who peek through your mail slot? That shi|+ ain’t happening! This bag is very soft, attractive, helpful and easy to take off and wash. My Mom loves it! I love it because her mail doesn’t end up all over the floor anymore.

Super easy to install. Has a velcro strip to easily access delivered mail, no more stooping to the floor to get all the scattered mail! It does help with the inevitable draft from the mail slot as an added benefit!

I was sent the wrong color but the color I was sent was fine so I kept it. Extremely easy to install. So much nicer now that the mail isn’t all over my floor. The mailman hasn’t said anything about it being difficult to put mail in or anything. Only downside is that I sometimes forget to get the mail because now I can’t see it all over the floor.

The Mail bag works exactly as described, was easy to install & serves its purpose: keeping the mail off the floor & having mail delivered even if gone for just a day. I don't have to bother neighbors to get my mail out of the outside mailbox. Brilliant design.

No, the title is not an exaggeration. I absolutely HATED walking into a foyer filled with mail on the floor. EVERY day, we’d open the door (with the mail slot), walk in, and promptly step on/slip on/stumble on tons and tons of envelopes. E.g. I’ve had to request new cheques before because I walked in from the rainy outdoors in my work heels and slipped on envelopes, tearing the contents.Plus, over time, my dog learnt how to grab the mail from the mail person’s hand as it slipped through the slot. She never ate or tore up the mail, luckily, but I’m sure she gave the mail person a fright every time she did it (I’ve never really met our mail person but I’m sure they’ve felt my dog’s snout pushing against their hand or the mail before lol).Discovering this mail bag on a night of mixing Amazon and wine has changed my life.It is SO easy to install, has a great grip and has held well over the past few months, has large slits on the side to grab mail easily while still keeping the dog out, and it holds SO MUCH MAIL. I bought the white one and was afraid the colour would make it get dirty over time, but no - not a single stain/mark on it (both on the inside and out). It is perfect. I wish I could kiss the inventor of this, that’s how much I truly appreciate having this in my life.

Perfectly catches mail without making it difficult for the postal carrier to put mail through the mail slot. It is easy to install with simple velcro-type strips, took 2 minutes (just needed a ruler). It's also easy to get the mail out of it either through the side slits or by pulling down the back flap to fully open it (the back flap is also attached with a velcro-type strip). One thing to think about is how high above your floor your mail slot is. If it's low, this product once installed may reach your floor, which means you're still bending all the way down to the floor level to retrieve your mail. For me, it hangs down to about 15 inches above the floor, so it does reduce how far I have to bend to get my mail. I wish my mail slot was a little higher up, or, that this product was just a bit shorter. But it's really good: keeps mail from scattering all over the floor, slightly muffles the sound of the mail slot, and has reduced how much I have to bend over to get the mail. Definitely does the job.
