Bev, Good question.  Last week on Dr. Oz a segment on  Protein supplements was examined utilizing results from ConsumerLab.com (subscription required to obtain information on tested products.)  Consumer Lab found lead in some and missing ingredients or not what they advertised on websites and their product.  Jay Robb was one of the good ones. I have used it for years.  Six recipes are on the back of the bag which has a zip lock top.  I have tried four of them and all were delicious.  The ingredients are:  cold-processed cross flow icrofiltered why protein isolate, natural flavor, cocoa powder (natural process), xanthan fum. lecithin (from non-GMO sunflower seeds) and stevia.Subscription to Consumer Lab is well worth it - a huge amount of testing and keeps companies on their toes including the bigger ones like Costco and the smaller ones too.  The chief officer of CL's has been on OZ several times now and I believe it will keep companies improving their products.  Be reassured the $$ spent on Jay Robb are worth every penny.  Forgot to mention that on the back of the bag it offers they obtain their free whey rBgh from small farms throughout the world and when the supplies run short abroad they turn to high quality domestic raw materials as well. difference between whey protein? and whey protein isolate?

Hi Catherine!  There are 3 common types of Whey; Whey Protein Concentrate- WPC, Whey Protein Isolate- WPI and Whey Protein Hydrolysate- WPH. WPC has low levels of fat and carbs with anywhere from 30-90% of protein content.  WPI has had all fat and carbs removed and usually contains at least 90% protein. While WPH is pretty much predigested which just means this form is easily absorb. Also just FYI, WPH is good for allergy sufferers because of its decreased allergen potential.  Hope this helps. Jayrobb.com has all those facts. This size has 23 servings each having 110calories. One scoop (30 grams - scoop included) and 25 grams protein.
