Very heavy. Set up and connected with sub, before attaching HDMI cable to Au8000 Samsung TV. Added rear 9200s speakers, and the sound is really good. Dts tracks fill the room. Atmos effect is ok, obviously not going to be as good as a separates. Valerian Blu-ray sounds very good on Panasonic btp180. I leave it on standard sound with woofer at 0, and sounds really good in a regular living room. Very clear sound, great bass, and adjustable centre and height, and (optional)rear volume from remote. Sounds great for TV and streaming, and for games. Does work with rear speakers, but no rear Atmos at this entry level. There is some feeling of a higher soundfield from the front, but not amazing. A steal for this price, as long as you realise Dolby digital and Atmos content will only work through the HDMI, from a Blu-ray player or a game system, along with the content that supports it. Streaming will work, Disney shows Atmos, but Netflix shows pcm, on listed Atmos content. A great system, but does need time to get best from new technology. Only downside is too many separate sound adjustment buttons, which is why I leave it on standard. Very loud, hard to put it on past 25 in a lounge with a next door neighbour, and the woofer adds a lot of impact to the sound, not ground shaking, but low enough to add to action onscreen. At this price, cost was £238 in August 2023, it is half or even a third of the price on other sites. An absolute bargain.

I brought this sound system revently to upgrade my original 2.1 soundbar I got some time ago on amazon. I have the soundbar connected to a 4k projector that supports dobly atmos and gaming consoles that also support dobly atmos. I was worried that the sound quality wouldn't be much of an upgrade compared to my cheaper soundbar as many reviews highlight the soundbar is an improvement over TV speakers and not other soundbars. I connected the soundbar via HDMI E-Arc and the subwoofer was already connected. The subwoofer shows a solid blue light at the back once it's connected. I tested the sound quality via Netflixs and Disney plus as both streaming platforms support dobly atmos and I have to say I'm blown away. The sound quality is incredible. Very loud and clear. The surround sound actually works and completes my home cinema room. Really impressed with product. I bought for £298 and the item has since decreased to £285 which is abit disappointing but these things happen.Overall very happy with the purchase. 5 stars.

Long Term Review - Build quality of the soundbar is good. Though might not be the best looking soundbar out there, it still looks presentable and blends well in front of the TV.I have paired it with my Samsung S90C TV and it's been an absolute game changer. The Q-Symphony makes pairing/connectivity easy and sound output is immersive and clear.This is more than enough for most living spaces as you'd hardly ever need anything with a higher sound output. Decent bass from the subwoofer.The soundbar goes with many TV sizes from 42 inches to 75 inches.I still believe is a good value for compared with what LG offers in the same price range.

Soundbar arrived quickly and was easy to setup. Very impressed with initial sound and quality of base. However, after a few hours of use, sound started to crackle and then disappeared completely. Tried numerous fixes, checking connections and settings. Turning on and off but still no sound. Tried HDMI connection, then optical. Also connected phone via Bluetooth and would not play sound. Contacted Samsung text support via online chat service, answered automated questions and before model was input message displayed, asked if product was one of a few listed "HW-Q600B/XU". Stated to turn device on and off again and if problem was not resolved to contact for device repair. Called Samsung tech support for more assistance and went through numerous fixes again, with no avail. Stated message that appeared on online chat and asked if was known issue with model, this was dismissed. Online forums seem to show other owners having same issue, I would avoid this product completely and have requested a refund.

2 days in with the Q600b .I have upgraded from a Cambridge TVB2 sound bar which have had for 6 years and I have been impressed how well this has lasted and the sound quality is still good. But I thought it time for an upgrade with all the new technology coming out .No issues connecting up to my 6 year old 4k samsung TV .My STB is the Humax Aura which is a pretty good but of kit in itselfHD channels sound great and speech is soooooo clear the bass is not intrusive.Now films WOW in adaptive setting and the bass turned up amazingGuardians of the galaxy just sounds like it did in the cinema .So far I'm impressed and blown away how good this is for the price paid best £230 I've spent in ages .Just hope it lasts just as long as my Cambridge TVB2

Bought this for my brother as a birthday gift he loves it, it does well to fill the room and you can definitely hear the atmos effect and the build quality is amazing for the price

If only Samsung supplied an appropriate HDMI cable mess around for nearly a year now with expensive HDMI Cable. Sometime sound goes off altogether and all the time sound has short term loss periodically. Tried a cheap cable I use with my media project and so far -perfect (but far to long). Just ordered an alternative and will test this out longer term. Product appears to be spoiled by bad performance due to HDMI Cable, looking at cable reviews this is not uncommon for other combinations. Samsung could save themselves bad reviews and lots of Customer Services time. TV is Samsung Q60 2020. Anyone else having this issue?

I needed a new soundbar for my room but nothing to expensive and this is perfect. The sound quality is ace. It does what is says. I even have to turn it down because it's very loud at times. Would Def recommend this
