I purchased a quick release chin strap for motorcycles. Love it, and works very well. (Adjustable)

Q: What type of material?

the helmet it self was well constructed , I don't know exact material. I did return it because the sun visor was always getting stuck and became a pane in the butt. I do not recommend this product.
