The media could not be loaded. Very pleased with the quality. Fits many sizes of books, comfortably, but be aware that if you intend to carry something in the storage compartment, a medium or large size book, for example, you won't be able to, only thinner books fit in there. The magnetic clasp is very strong though, so whatever you manage to store will be safe when carrying it around. Great addition to my reading tools. Very easy to use. It isn't heavy, but I wouldn't class it as lightweight either. Overall, it's practical, esthetically pleasing, and also comes with a wooden coaster gift which I used already to place my cup of tea inside the back area while I was reading before!

I thought this would be pretty cheap feeling, from the product photos, but it is very well designed and excellent quality, far better than I was expecting it to be.There is a magnetic catch that keeps it closed. It is easy to pop open, though, and the swinging arm underneath is perfectly weighted as it automatically slots into the first height slot once you lift it. Beautiful design!I was expecting something made from cheapo ply or MDF with wood effect paper stuck to it, but it feels a decent weight and the surface has a nice grain effect making it feel much more like decent quality wood. The cushioned base and sides, also, feel good quality and it is very comfy on your legs. The inside is very convenient for storing spare bookmarks, pens, post its and glasses case/cleaner etc.I love using it (along with a blanket and teapot) and my time spent reading daily has increased massively after buying this. I don't even feel tempted to look at my phone anywhere near as often, the experience is so comforting and blissful.

Being a keen book reader, especially whilst I wake up in the morning with a cup of tea, this book stand makes the experience a lot more pleasurable.This is a lovely product constructed from quality materials. Being made predominantly from wood, it's not light, but the padding means that it doesn't feel too heavy when I rest it on my legs.The stand allows you to adjust the book to a convenient angle according to the lightning in the room.Highly recommended!

The product will be great to help me to read my books in comfort. The downside is that one of the pads designed to hold a book open is damaged. The danger is that the exposed metal will damage the page of the book.

My partner got this for me for Xmas last year and out of all the gifts I got, this is by far my favourite and I use it EVERY SINGLE NIGHT when unread in bed.It has a little storage so I keep my tabs, pens and other bookish bits in there. It’s very comfy if you keep it on your lap like I do and sturdy to hold a heavy hardback!Looks and feels good. Folds away and I store in on the side on top of a chair during the day. It’s not heavy so you don’t feel the weight on your lap even with a book on as it is soft underneath.Honestly one of the best things a reader can ask for!!! It leaves my hands free and also doesn’t strain my wrists when I hold a heave hardback. Too stars for this ingenious product!!!!!

I have bursitis in both shoulders so struggle holding books, tablet, etc. for long periods of time. This stand is perfect. Thoughtfully designed. Very well made - sturdy but lightweight. Cushioned base rests comfortably on my lap without moving. Excellent value for money. I would highly recommend it.

This is a great reading table. We use it for our family reads. It holds books reliably and is lovely quality. It is very sturdy. Fully adjustable.

I am giving 5 stars because it is a very good product. The arms that hold the pages are sturdy enough without being too strong and difficult to move which might otherwise damage the pages. The only thing I think is a design oversight is; internal storage for books (two paperbacks or one thinner hard back - a thicker hard back book doesn’t fit - I.e onyx storm sized) is great, especially when travelling/staying out, however one small improvement is needed. The unit has a carry handle but the little ‘shelf’ does not secure in an upwards position, so carrying the unit by the handle is a bit pointless as the shelf drops down and does not sit flush.Not worth dropping to 4 stars though as a good unit in and of itself. The wooden coaster was a very nice touch as well.
