Work well
I much prefer mechanical pencils to wooden pencils and these work well. They show up well on dark surfaces. The lead does not break easily.

Better than that old soap stone
These are so much better than an old soap stone. You can really see the lines when you have torch glasses or a welding shield on. You can make a much cleaner and crisper line with these.

Wasn’t to impressed with the red one, but other then that. They work pretty well so far.

Well constructed and built to last. You might whimper slightly at the cost, but with these at least you'll always have a clean crisp lines or words to read. BTW you can buy refills in several colors which work perfectly to offer contrast.

Mechanical pencil that do not write on metal as described.
These pencils DO NOT write on metal as described. I truly wish I would have returned them for a mechanical pencil that does. The blue and silver leads SUCK! I would appreciate sending me a set of mechanical pencils and leads [fillers] that do truly write on metal. Thank you in advance.
