I did a little research. The tag on my pillows says they are made in China. It also says they were made for St.James Home. The down used in the pillows comes from China. China is apparently a large resource of down and feathers etc.

No smell at all. I too was concerned by some reviews I read, no problem with the smell.

Does not say on the description whether it is or not. But if your not allergic to goose or duck feathers you should be good .the outside pillow fabric is cotton
