DODODO Cat Metal Litter Scoop with Long Solid Core Handle, Pet Cleaning Shovel, New Generation Lighter and Sturdy

I never thought I would write a review on a litter scoop, but maybe this will help someone else. The handle is a hard plastic and a little wide making it a little difficult to hold. I don't have small hands at all, but it took a few times using this to get used to it. If I had tried it in a store, I would not have purchased.I had hoped the smaller holes would make it better for getting those smaller pieces that fall through and stay in a litter box. It does that, but depending on your litter, you will end up either shaking so much that clumps break up and leave you with dirty litter, or you will end up using a whole lot more litter. It works well with World's Best Cat litter because of the way it clumps. I would think you would scoop too much if you have a clay based litter. I know with the Arm & Hammer double duty corn cob based litter, I ended up scooping a lot of litter out of the box with this scoop.I like the size. We have 7 cats and 3 ferrets, so that's 5 litter boxes I clean daily!

Appears to be nice and sturdy because its metal, but with a multiple cat household this scoop doesn't stand up to the task at hand.Where the scoop meets the handle needs a lot more reinforcement. If there is a bit stuck to the bottom or side of the litter box the handle bends. I just got this scoop a few days ago, but with extended use I'm sure this handle will eventually become weak and break.

I was specifically looking for a cat litter scoop that had smaller holes to help sift out smaller clumps. This works great for that. The one issue that I ran into is that the metal at the handle is weak to the point that it flexes every time it is used. Within 2 weeks this has started to erode the strength of the handle and I expect will break in the near future. Otherwise, this was exactly what I was looking for. 5 stars for fine sifting. 3 stars for design flaws.

This was my favorite scoop until it fell apart. The metal kept bending a bit with each use and after being bent back so many times, it snapped. Just a little reinforcing right at the handle would make this the best scoop on earth. At least for clumping clay litter, which is why it needs to be stronger - that stuff is HEAVY.

I'm always in search of a great pooper scooper, because I've got six cats. However, I found this scooper to be a bit on the flimsy side so far as the metal goes. The handle is much sturdier. For those hard to scoop areas, ( the bottom of the box where the pee sinks to and sticks ), it tends to make the scooper bend. Also, the holes don't get the fine grits of clumped litter. It's an okay scooper, but I'll continue my search for a great one.

Metal scooper which would suggest a sturdy tool but it's not. Extremely weak aluminum. The handle bent the first time I used it and I fully expect it to break.

Its great in that the hole size is smaller to catch break offs BUT it broke in half after just a few uses. Needs to be redesigned. I would love it if it just held together.

Decent scoop, the holes were not as small as i would really like, and the metal is kind of flimsy (I could just be rough though) the shape is good, get a in corners nicely and has a pretty nice handle as well.
