As usual from Flexcut, this tool came out of the package literally razor sharp. I put it to use immediately and it does a great job and for me personally it is saving me a ton of time roughing certain projects! I have nothing but Flexcut carving tools & I would 100% recommend them for your own projects! They are easy to maintain and the handles are very comfortable so you can carve for hours without hand fatigue.

Works great!
I love the size! Comes with a nice sheath, but be careful not to hit the snaps when putting the blade away.

This is a quality tool. Excellent small draw knife.
This is just what I was looking for. I wanted a single bevel draw knife that holds it's edge. I bought the other one that Amazon sells, it was a double bevel knife. It was larges by a couple of inches and better handles for large hands like mine, but the curved handles on this one work. I needed the single bevel more than the handle for scarfing the wood surface of small items. The sheath is a plus too.

As a daily carver, good quality
As a daily carver, I can say these are of good quality. Although with the volume I produce I tend to wear them out faster than the normal human. I do use my first still, and it's 12 years old.
