Brilliant butter dish. Quality item. Large enough for a big slab of butter, thick enough to keep it cool and tall enough so butter doesn’t stick to the lid. Survived an accidental trial in the dish washer! Says it’s DW proof but my wife says it’s best to hand wash in warm soapy water, in order to preserve the varnish and keep the picture looking bright. ;)

I have gone back to real butter and needed a butter dish , was impossible to get one from a charity shop or a supermarket ? ,I spotted this on Amazon the collie looked like my beautiful collie dog that is no longer with me so buying it was a no brainer, it's large,quite heavy,very good quality,it's washed well ,(I don't have a dish washer) ,the painting of the farm scene is lovely,I really didn't expect it to be so nice , a good buy,very pleased ☺

The best there is out there, the handle is what makes the dish great, my last dishes handle broke.This new one will not break, its made well,and is the same price as my last dish.

I picked this product because a friend owns a Collie, and it's her birthday soon. She'll be thrilled - regardless of whether she uses a butter dish or not!

This butter dish is gorgeous, nice and big and could take a packet and half of our uk butter block.
