viewing with Hikvision NVR remotely
I would like to correct my previous review, remote to Hikvision does work if you port forward the RTSP port as well

Very nice for the price
The lights are not infrared, but with full color night vision that makes sense. I am very impressed with the low light quality.

Update: Stopped working after a few months.
update: while the camera does appear broken, the seller worked with me to try to help in a very responsive manner, and promised a refund. Increased to 3 stars for unusually good support.Does not appear on my network and does not respond to reset. Not a real hikvision camera.

Blurry, low quality, paid mobile app. The sensors are NOT 6mp or 8mp(4K) poor 1080p quality
I loved what you could see at night aimed at the stars but could not figure out why it was so blurry at night and then even more so in the day. At night things ghost very badly. It seems then have maybe amped up the power to the sensor to get more light but that means its gonna burn out / die fast.I have bought 3 versions, 2 of the the 6MP colorvu bullet and 2 of the 6mp colorvu dome versionsand 1 of the 8mp dome colorvu versions. The 4K and bullet versions use a mobile software you have to pay for. The name they tell you to use has 3 versions in play store, all are subscription / purchase based. They will not work on the free one that you can use for the 6 mp dome versions. I would have thought the bullet and dome versions use the phone same app, they do not. You can use the same computer app for all versions and all are visible on Blue Iris software.NONE appear to be outputting H265 in spite of the claim and settings in the app to use it, they appear to only be putting out H264 only to Blue Iris.According to their graphics above about the Starvis sensor. It says right there that these cameras are all using the same IMX290 2.13 2mp sensor, not 6mp, not 8mp/4K but a simple small 2mp sensor which is just your basic 1080P camera (1920 x 1080 pixel). It appears that they are simply digitally enlarging the video to the larger size and the graphics quality will suffer severely accordingly. They will be very blurry, no sharpness and color suffers. There are no lens coatings, these all have serious lens flare and star burst effects from lights, since these are mainly for low light night viewing that becomes a big issue. But we are not done, the description for each shows yet another sensor. The 6mp and the 8mp camera both say they are using a IMX335 sensor but even that is only a 5mp sensor. 2592 x 1944px. They simply cannot be both, and neither are what they are advertising. Sometimes you get what you pay for, sometimes you don't even get that. These appear at best to be a poor quality 2MP 1080P camera being enlarged on the fly and advertised as something they are most certainly not. you would not be able to distinguish these from a 1080P when viewed side by side.

Night vision is nice on this one.
I have some 4mp colorvue cameras on my house and liked the night vision so much I got excited when I saw these were colorvue claims. I bought 4 to replace some 4k cameras that have poor color night vision. I was absolutely blown away by the picture quality these things give off. Actually brighter and more colorful than the 4mp ones but they are 2 years newer as well. The options in the camera menus are plentiful and they do work. Wdr actually works as well as high end cameras. I use blue iris for motion detection and ai so no idea how that works on these cameras. The only thing I don't like is the ad claims all kinds of viewing angles. It's definetly not 112 degrees and i kind of think the 103 degrees might be an exaggeration too. I'll call it 99 degrees but it has a much greater vertical area it shows too so I put them I'm areas where I didn't need the wide and actually super appreciate the extra vertical coverage. I took a star off because of the wide viewing angle claim. It is wide with the 2.8mm lense it's just not 112 wide. Overall for the money it's a great camera.

Awesome
Super HD, but it is Chinese. Loading screen flashing Chinese writing and the UI seems thrown together, but works great with Hikvision DVR and Milestones servers. Love these for the price.
