Had to return because their dark brown is really black and did not match our furniture. Also it is not very deep because the top is covered underneath with cloth, I guess to cover extra bracing, in case you sit on it? It only weighs 26.51 lbs so that tells you to be wary. But it was attractive.

Great size, look and quality. It was also fully in one piece except for the legs, so it was assembled within a few minutes.

This smaller bench is perfect for my newly redecorated bedroom! Went from queen to full size mattress and bench looks great. Came in absolutely perfect condition

Nice looking piece of furniture. Well made and sturdy. But even having known the measurements beforehand,it is a lot smaller than expected. Will not suit for storage of blankets and pillows that I was hoping to use it for. But will work for many small items, due to the depth. The color is grayish and almost like a black tweed. Though it appears bluish in many photos, mine included.Not made to use for seating. Too narrow and would buckle under heavy weight soon enough.Overall good for the price.

Useful, very sturdy, attractive, easy to just screw on the four legs, comfortable to sit on, great storage, hinges are perfect, stays open, nice looking. I would buy more of these.it is smaller in height than it appears in pictures, but that is okay for my needs.5 stars

Very nice ottoman/chest. Storage room adequate. Only got it a couple days ago and have. Already received several compliments, Super easy assembly, just screw legs and you are good to go. I would recommend.

The brown color is exactly as pictured, as is the antique brass nail head hardware.It is comfortable enough to sit on.The dimensions are slightly off. It is actually only 46 inches wide. The inside width is 39 inches and inside height/depth is 9.25” which isn’t mentioned or shown in the listing. If you try to put file folders in it, the tabs will get crushed, however, if you put less in and tilt them, it could still work. It would fit 3 file folders sections wide, see photo.The hinges do not fully extend to a 90 degree opening which I do not like, but it is still a pretty ample opening; see photo.Overall it seems sturdy, well constructed and is a good value for the money.This storage bench was moderately heavy, but not too cumbersome in size for this petite pregnant lady to easily bring into the house and unpackage alone. Assembly was just twisting the legs with screw into the furniture and only took a few minutes.*Note this item is not suitable for toy storage or use in a child’s room as it poses an entrapment hazard; a warning is included in the box.*
