Great product
Always happy with Macguires’ products. Been a loyal customer for years. Got it to remove mold dots on my paint job. Unknowingly parked next to mulch which causes this issue. Took most of mold off, will use cleaner next to see if that helps, then clay.

Melts the bugs away.
I love to ride motorcycles. I've killed millions of bugs. Millions! Splattered all overy bike. If you're looking at this product you know how hard it is to get dried up big guys off of your vehicle. This works! It's not magic. You do have to use a little elbow greece, but not even close as to what you have to do without this spray. Make your life easier and your ride clean.

Worked good on seasoned tar drops
Put a new roof on our sunroom and the tar dripped onto the hot tub cover. Did not notice it for months, but then tried this and it worked just fine. Had to apply a couple times, but it did not damage the cover.

Works!
This actually works. I drove from Nashville to Westpalm Beach and got back washed the car and the bug splatter didn't come off. I bought this because 4$ mailed to me was a deal. I washed my car again same thing bug juice still there. So I wet the areas sprayed this on them let it sit for 5 minutes or so. I then took a brush and with very little effort everything came off.

Wasted money and time
Tried this on road tar. I hand washed our 2020 Chevy Colorado with a chevy car care detail soap… toweled the truck dry… applied thick coat of bug and tar remove… applied more as it dried in the breeze… waited 5 minutes and rinsed while scrubbing with cotton gloves… removed nothing… repeated process removed very little… moved to quarter panel… rinse and repeat x3… wasted 2/3 of a can on 2 small areas with minimal results and maximum effort… not wasting anymore of my time

Not for sap
Unfortunately, this product doesn't work on sap. I needed to remove some blobs of sap from a pine tree that had dripped on the hood of my car. I found and chose this product by searching Amazon for "bug, tar and sap removers" and I assumed that tar would be similar to sap, so this bug and tar remover should work. This turned out to be incorrect. To be fair, the actual label on the bottle doesn't mention tree sap.I ended up buying this product because of the description of how gentle it was on paint. Unfortunately, it's also very gentle on sap. It just left streaked sap marks. I found an old bottle of Turtle wax bug, tar and sap remover that I was trying to replace. That worked.

Works like magic
I have a new white car that got tar of some sort flung onto its side from the wheel. I tried EVERY home remedy I could find online: goo gone, WD40, hot soap and water, and barely made any progress. The instructions for this said let sit for 5 minutes, then clean off. I had my doubts, but it did in minutes what I couldn't do in hours with any other method. I was shocked at how effective it was. Thanks very much!

Works, almost perfectly!
I used to scrub the bugs off while washing my car. I heard of this product and bought it. Sprayed it and let it soak for a 5 minutes, then agitated it with a microfiber cloth, and rinsed. It cleaned almost all the bugs, except a few spots (~1 out of 100). I am very happy with the results. I have tried to let it soak for a few minutes and rinse without agitating, and even then it takes out all the bug deposits.
