This is a very powerful dart launcher. You would be surprised at the range. It is very precise. it is probably all repairable. And when the mechanical parts wear out, you can replace them. The manufacturer does n't really suggest this. But then, this is your toy.It can even be made more deadlier by removing some of the black plastic off of the tip of the dart. Then you have a longer blade on the tip of the dart.I manhandled mine, and ruined the release buttons. Then I popped it open, and replaced the damage button springs, with a spring from a click type ball point pen.The springs which push the dart out, can also probably replaced. You would just need a way to figure out how to pop everything open. And then you could put in, even more powerful springs.Everything on this dart launcher is probably repairable, one way, or another.This is a lot of self-defense for $14.00 bucks. You can always buy replacement darts.

I like it it's fun to play with pretty accurate the only thing I don't like about it is it's missing one of the buttons when I got it I'm now trying to figure out how I can get one or make one cuz I really think that would be an issue because they just pop on there so looks like they come off pretty easy

Works as expected sharp decent

Super fun in theory, unfortunately they put no effort into making it correctly or safely. The buttons fall off, its very hard to reload, so in an emergency self defense situation it would not be useful, and the darts shoot themselves whenever they please, making them extremely dangerous because they do have a very nice, strong spring. If it was better quality then I would love it and recommend it to everyone but unfortunately it's too dangerous and unpredictable

Its fun to play with, but its not a self defense tool. It won't help you if they are wearing a thick button up or jacket.

This thing is a lot more powerful than expected! I recommend always keeping the safety collar mechanism in place until ready to fire. Also, when reloading. I find it helpful to take a small pair of needle-nose pliers to grip the darts when reloading. It's quicker and you're less likely to come in contact with one of the darts already in position.I also trimmed down the plastic on the darts just a bit and glued them in place with CA glue. This allows it to penetrate just a bit deeper into your target. I'm using half inch lumber as a target and from 10 ft away they stick deep into the wood.Great for target practice!

WATCH OUT!!!! While this item is fun and great it is also really dangerous. It was loading and firing correctly for the first few uses then it was loaded and as another dart was being loaded the first dart fired, almost hitting a hand and piercing a water bottle. Thinking it was user error it was loaded repeatedly and sure enough, without the user pressing the firing button it would fire unpredictably, but only from the left slot. Super dangerous and unpredictable. Very lucky no one was hurt.
