Totally did not expect this product to feel as luxurious as it is. Arrived exactly as the product video. Leather is sturdy and paper books are well made. Will be bookmarking this vendor for future purchases.

Gave this as a gift to my husband who works in architecture and design. He’s always using notebooks and this is an elegant step up from moleskin. He’s proud to keep this out on his desk or use in the field. It has lasted and looks nice despite daily use in many environments. The paper is quality with little bleed through and the notebooks are easily refilled. Would recommend!!!

I really like the leather and set of the cover. The books are decent size which allows for my other books to fit into the sleeve.This works well for what I wanted. If I was to make any recommendations it would be the pen holder. It is fine where it is and is covered by the leather. I never like my pen tucked in, in case it breaks and bleeds I would prefer that not to be on the inside. I would prefer a pen sleeve on top or outside.

High quality. Looks stylish and very comfortable to use. There is a removable notebook - it is very happy. My husband likes it very much.

Personally, I will be making a few visual modifications to it, since it is just how I am. But... thus far, I am quite impressed with this.So far, at least, it seems VERY well made, though I likely would have made the front a little bit wider, for the sake of accommodating a pen (I do not use a Bic/disposable writing apparatus - I prefer something that lasts longer). But beyond that, I can find nothing wrong, here.The leather feels like quite a good, fine quality, thickness included. I have yet to find anything to use the pockets/slots for, but I know that will come in time.Overall, right now, I would say "money well spent". I just want to see how long it lasts, because the longer it does last, the more likely I am to suggest it.

Well first of all, I saw at least one review claiming this isn't real leather, and while I'm no expert, I have absolutely no reason to believe it isn't. It has a slightly chemical smell but otherwise smells like leather to me. Furthermore, unlike my fake leather goods, it does actually absorb water. So for what it's worth, after some research I believe it to be real leather.Beyond that, it's gorgeous, practical, and very good quality. I spent hours browsing Amazon for a new journal and ultimately landed on this one. Now that I have it in hand, I know I made the right decision. It's a good size, not so large that it's cumbersome to carry in a medium handbag, and not so small that it's awkward and uncomfortable to write in.The leather cover itself allows enough room to actually hold ear buds or a USB cable (or maybe both at the same time, I haven't tried) in the left inside pocket and still snap closed. It leaves a bit of a bulge obviously (the headphones are inside the journal in the pics I posted of it closed as well and you can barely tell), but it isn't tight and awkward and if you keep your journal on you all the time and enjoy tunes or need a cable for charging, this would be ideal. So the cable straps are actually a really nice extra touch.The notebooks are also pretty solid. Good, thick paper, and they lay flat. I always get wavy lines of writing on unlined paper, but maybe I'll give it a go and eventually get better at keeping my own lines lol. If not, I ordered a couple of lined A5 notebooks as future refills anyway. It's really nice that the journal comes with 2 notebooks in the first place.Anyway, I only do more detailed reviews on stuff I really like, and I really like this journal. If you want a journal that's sturdy, handy, refillable, and looks beautiful, I'd very much recommend this one (and I'm super picky).
