🔥 Seal the heat, not the style!
This 1-inch wide, 72-inch long self-adhesive gasket tape is crafted from high-temperature resistant graphite-impregnated fiberglass, designed to withstand up to 1100°F. Its grey color matches wood ash for a cleaner look, while the tight-knit weave ensures durable sealing and surface protection without the need for additional sealants.

Good adhesive - works great
Installed this on my traegger and works great to keep smoke in the barrel and through the chimney. It wasn’t a long enough roll to do the whole lid opening but I installed on the top and sides (not on the bottom) and works great. Smoke naturally rises to the top so really didn’t need it on the bottom. If you have a larger pit, order 2 rolls or measure all dimensions and order a roll long enough.Installing on the top and 2 sides works great for me

No smoke in the house
Seals the wood stove door and prevents any smoke from seeping out the door. Would buy again

Adequate for insulation on Heaters and Such.
I used it around the burner plate but I may have another problem with the heater so I couldn't tell. It applied on the surface OK. May be too thin.

Satisfied customer
My handyman told me to get the 2” wide tape. I thought the 1” would be better. Out of 4 applications, only one kept leaking; otherwise, I’m content with the 1”, but I still have to get a roll of 2” wide tape for the 4th job. The tape was easy to work with.

Bad smell but not toxic. Grow up!
Lots of stuff smells bad, but almost none of it is toxic. How do you know that smell is toxic? Did you have s lab so some testing? I used it on my sauna stove, it smelled, I enjoyed a smoke Free sauna. Grow up!

DO NOT BUY!
DO NOT BUY! And if you do, wear gloves and a mask when handling. The smell is absolutely horrible and fiberglass gets everywhere.I got this to replace our gas water heater burner assembly seal after the old silicon one turned to dust. I thought a fiberglass one will seal just as well but last forever. Cutting with a pair of kitchen shears seemed to work well and it went on easily, but as soon as I was done, I could see sparkles around the water heater. Turns out the fiberglass fibers had gotten everywhere (on me as well). I cleaned up, started up the water heater and that's when I knew something was really wrong. The smell emitted was unbelievably strong and noxious that we had to turn off the heater and open up the windows to air out the house.I'm now having to either live without a water heater until I get a replacement, or deal with toxic smell.
