Customer service at Brace Direct is excellent. I purchased the Blu-ice machine in order to avoid a complicated shoulder replacement surgery at age 78. It relieved my pain at night so I could sleep and prevented me from having the surgery. I had to return the first machine as I had problems but received labels and they were very efficient received the replacement within three days,. The customer service people helped me tremendously as I have a deficit in operating any sort of appliance. I would strongly recommend this company for any product you may need.

The media could not be loaded. My doctor wanted me to use ice therapy following reverse should replacement surgery. I dont really like the cold, so wasn’t going to buy it. But SO glad we did. First, it feels so good. Second, when you shift around to get comfy, your ice pack doesnt fall off. Third, it is so quiet. It seems similar to my Dyson fan. Just a subtle quiet fan sound. The only negative is the timer. It is SO loud, and if you fall asleep, it will wake you. I wish they didn’t have a timer at all. My doctor wanted 30 min on and 30 min off. The machine is set for 20, 40, 60, ON. So I just do 20 / 20 instead. I really do like this machine. The only real negative - my husband had to strap it on over my shoulder, and I cant take it off left handed. So you have to walk with this heavy cooler to the bathroom. It’s inconvenient. But I will take it for the relief it provides.

The media could not be loaded. I saw a review about the leak after I bought. I wish I had seen before i bought. You need to connect pad to tubes. It clicks but it starts leaking. I have put silicone adhesive sealant where it leaks hopefully this will work. I don't agree having to do this but I need this for my rotator cuff and bicep surgery. Shame on this company for not testing. Also I suggest using silicone tape as well on top of silicone sealant in case you miss a leak. I can't figure out where it is leaking. The silicone tape keeps from getting bed wet and as you can see I have a bucket to catch water leak. Received replacement pump doesn't work. For roughly 10 seconds you hear it try to work after that it makes a humming sound and does not circulate water through tubes. The company is useless. So if you need a cold water treatment machine try a different brand but not this one. I ordered an ice pack from amazon and for the few minutes until it goes back in freezer it works really good. It is the Revix Shoulder Ice Pack for injuries. I like it. No leaking lol and no pump. How can you go wrong?

I was in a pretty bad car accident and had to have sure on my pelvis and socket where the bone goes into. 3 hours on the operating table, 2 plates, 8 screws, and 56 stitches later I was good to go. I was using ice pads at first but not being able to walk made it pretty tough to get new cold pads. I ordered this Blue Ice cold therapy machine and thank God I did, it has completely changed my recovery. I freeze water bottles, fill the water the the water line, add the bottles, and then top it off with ice and I'm getting below freezing temperature water flowing through the pad wherever it's placed; all night long. It would be 5 star but it can be a hassle getting the hose/pad positioned where you want it so I suggest ordering some sports wrap with the machine so that you can wrap the pad in place and not worry about it. The other thing is if you kink the hose where it meets the pad you will lose pressure, so finding a good spot to sports wrap the hose in a position where it won't kink the line is very important. I would rate it at 4.5 currently but that's not an option.

What makes this machine great.... The cooler keeps the water and ice cold for several hours. The pad that wraps around your knee is very large and has very long velcro straps. It fits everyone! It probably works on other body parts too. The cooler displays the water temperature. It also will auto shut off at 20 40 or 60 minutes. Don't waste your time with the other ones, this one is it....

Quiet machine, gives nice cooling. Wish it had settings for medium. That would control the rise of temperature. Was able to get about 2 1/2 hours out of it. First day followed directions for ice an water and it was extremely cold. Would probably work great for knee. Mine is shoulder.

It works well had surgery and I can not go up and down stairs for ice packs
