Quality tripod, very sturdy- haven’t tested it in high wind environments- but I wouldn’t have unrealistic expectations in that scenario- so when I say sturdy I’m refering to the build. It’s very solid and you can tell it was thoughtfully built. The two in one for phone and DSLR camera is very convenient. I have another tripod I used for my DSLR camera and would have to unscrew and rescrew on the attachment for when I wanted phone footage; which now I don’t have to do. All praises to the most High

Some of the reviews here seem to be for this brand's earlier models. Some of the review photos show a product I'm not seeing on this page. As with a lot of tech, it's hard to sort everything out. After pondering many options on Amazon, I ordered this ULANZI MA09 as well as another brand of similar height. I wanted 4 legs (not 3) as I will be using this outside, possibly in wind, and want maximum stability and at least 60-inch height. I do know that a single column of any brand, extended to 60 inches with a heavy phone on top, is not going to be rock solid but 3 legs is tippier than 4 in my experience. This Ulanzi beat the other one I looked at and am sending back. It is more compact (shorter, despite getting taller) when folded, and mostly plastic construction makes it quite light but I think sufficiently sturdy for a while at least. I don't understand the handle shown as a "panning" handle in the product photos. You don't really need a handle this big to pan it I don't think. It seems like unneccessary bulk. The detachable bluetooth transmitter is mounted in this handle but is only a small part of it. My one serious criticism is that the detachable bluetooth transmitter has no opening for a lanyard. It's very small and would be easy to lose. I'll use some tape and a thin lanyard to tie it down when needed and to help locate it if it falls into tall grass or the like. For around 20 bucks, I'm not complaining too much about this however and after trying it out for a few hours I'm generally pleased with it.

I have tried so many different portable tripods, and this one is definitely the best. Of course, with the portable tripod, it's never going to be as stable as a normal tripod because fully extended, the device on top will shake back-and-forth quite a bit. Obviously, if you don't touch the device, it will stabilize, but if you're trying to get super steady shots, this is not the tripod for you. What I ended up using this tripod for is actually placing my YouTube lights on top because I don't need those to be nearly as stable as my camera. This is the only tripod I use that can extend as far as it can and has a super adjustable ball mount on top. This is key because you can get any angle you need, and you can tilt it really far up or really far down, which I am constantly using. When fully collapsed, it is super small, and I'm actually able to keep them attached to my YouTube lights and just fold everything together and do a really small, compact package.

Great quality for the price! Very sturdy, does not feel cheap at all!
