The clarity of the picture
I like the Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Essential E3 Trail Camera, Brown, the clarity of the picture during the day and the second picture is at night time, and it shows how the light iluminates the area. The third picture is late in the night and I can the area where I set up the camera. It is easy to use, the settings are not complicated at all. Someone can set the settings the way they want it. You can choose to have video as well. There is no sound but, the important thing here is the picture quality, clarity, and the sensor activates when there is someone in the are or not, and the light that comes out from it. Someone can set the sensor high or normal, the intervals, and the amount of time to have video record it.Hope my review helps someone in making a decision on the purchase of Bushnell Trophy Cam HD Essential Trail Camera. Perhaps, Amazon Prime Day is approaching I will buy another one. I wish I knew that I can install this cameras myself. I had installed video survaillance cameras but, the problem was there was no way to install another camera that will be showing this area.

Camera Met My Needs
Folks , this camera is better than my 4 other brand name camera's,easily !It's simpler to use and program. It is clearer and has better sound . And it does night video as good as daylight ! I have been using trail cams for years, this one is cheaper and better, then Wild game,Moultrie, and Stealth, and Bushnell .It's detection sensor is Remarkable to say the least,It actually picks up a cat at over 40 feet at night! I have never seen another camera even come close to this, never! And it was a black cat to boot. For the price ,this is my new Brand. It truly is a step ahead of everyone else, other camera's claim new for 2019,and the picture quality is still 2015.This one is an eye opener,I have not received a penny, or free camera for this review. Be nice though! Winks! I actually had a deer squinting, literally,at this camera, like did I see something, but kept on eating, never seen a deer squinting. It really is a steal,at this price.I am buying more of them, you can't lose on this one folks, hands down,a Fantastic camera, fantastic detection sensor. It really is a great night time camera, and the sound is great too! The new 940 Ir works better than 850 Ir ,this might just catch Bigfoot ,animals could see 850 Ir this one has them squinting to see if they see something or not, none of the other

Bushnell Trophy Cam, A Better Game Camera
I've been through a lot of game cameras over the years, more expensive does NOT make them better. I've paid over $500 for a Game Cameras before and this $100 camera is by far better than anything else I've had. This is the 4th Bushnell Trophy Cam I've purchased this year and find them better made, more reliable and better quality pictures than anything else I have. Pictures do not lose quality when editing or enlarging. The camera case and attachment are thicker material than most, so when you are strapping it to a tree, it doesn't break the camera when applying tension, even the attachment strap is better. We are getting anywhere from 500 to 1500 pictures a week on the cameras, a lot of hogs at night...... and the batteries are lasting longer. Most Cameras will drain batteries with this much activity within a few days, the batteries have lasted for months without changing, we only use Duracell batteries. I would purchase more of these cameras and would recommend them to a friend.

Quality issues with cameras
REVISED UPDATE: We sent our cameras back in to Bushnell but they could not reproduce the issuein their office and did not warranty any of the cameras. We have started referring to losing data as the "Bushnell lottery" and will be switching camera brands as soon as funding allows. I can't believe that Bushnell customer would not address this problem.I now own 85 of these cameras for wildlife research. This past season 45 of these 85 cameras reset the date and time repeatedly during their deployment, rendering the data useless. All of the cameras that had this bug reset over and over so there are multiple photos from 1/1/17 at "midnight". This is a major issue that Bushnell needs to address quickly or it is going to lose the wildlife research community. Customer service has been responsive to replacing cameras that are under warranty. I am currently testing Browning Dark Ops cameras on a recommendation from a former co-worker.The trigger speed is good and it has less issues with blank photos than previous models but is still easily triggered by patches of shade and sun. Bushnell also needs to fix the mismatch between the detection circuit and the camera view. I have lots of blank photos from elk grazing through the camera view and hanging out on the edge of the detection circuit but off of the camera view.OLD REVIEW:I bought 15 of these cameras for a research project. I am a wildlife biologist that has used Bushnell trophy cams for research for years. The previous model of trophy cam worked well, this model has all kinds of issues. We had several cameras reset the date and time randomly throughout their deployment in the field, one camera stopped working after an hour, and 4 of them did not take a picture after a battery change in the field. Plus the user has no control over video settings, which is ridiculous. 7 out of the 12 cameras we set out in the woods had some kind of failure. I will be trying to buy the previous version of this camera on Amazon until Bushnell figures out how to work out the kinks (again).
