Fantastic value and feature set for the price!
They put just about everything on this unit. I really couldn't believe how much this stereo was offering for the price. I just installed it today and I knew it was nice very quickly. My original plan was to wait a few days to install the backup camera but I got a real charge from the system so I did the camera immediately. I was attracted mostly to the Android Auto, Apple Carplay, backup camera, 16 band EQ, steering wheel control, and the built-in mic. A lot of stereos have a clunky clip mic on a wire but the mic is on the top corner closest to the driver and picks you up quite well. My mom and Dad said the call quality was good. Touchscreen works as well as you need it to; nice and responsive. The EQ really lets you get the best possible sound. 16 bands is "above and beyond" but I made use of it all. Steering wheel control was easy to hookup with three wires once you lookup what wires on your factory harness(es) are used for that function. It learned the buttons on the first try. The backup camera actually turns on when you put the car in reverse! My wife has a Sony that still requires tapping on the screen to switch over to the camera but this is all done for you along with a small reduction in volume to help you concentrate. The volume returns after you switch out of reverse. The sound is better than the factory pioneer head unit my Scion had in it and has shown me that the factory pioneer speakers can actually sound good with a better stereo. I recommend this highly if the features are important to you or especially if you have a slightly older vehicle you want to modernize. I can't wait to get my custom boot image file from the company.

DON NOT BUY
Ordered this stereo at the end of May to replace the factory stereo on my old truck. I use it one or twice a week to tow my boat, so I wanted a cheaper option with a back up camera. When it came in, it was nice and fairly easy to install. Backup camera was nice and had a good picture. Now the front facing camera was kind of disappointing. It would only record if it was set in front camera mode, which meant you could not listen to music. Ok no big deal. Here is where the problems start happening. The unit would over heat on longer drives with the music at a higher volumes and shut itself off, again no biggie, I could live with that. Then around the 2 month mark, out of nowhere the unit completely stopped working. Would could see it come on, but nothing on the screen and no response from any buttons. So I contacted Amazon about a possible swap, and first thing I was told was that I could not return it. After some discussion, had the wife handle that she’s good at it lol, I got a replacement. So now here we are another 2 months later and the unit has failed again. This time it barely wants to work. It produces sound, but it’s so terrible you can’t even stand it. The screen is so dim you can barely see it. And if you plug a phone in to do anything, the screen dims down to nothing and you can’t play any music.I wanted to give some of these less expensive stereo a chance, but unfortunately I’m done. I went and ordered me a Pioneer like I’ve always done and be done with it.

‘03 F150.it’s awesome. great functionality, easy to use. get the update from sjoybring and load it from a thumb drive per their specs. don’t judge the stereo until after you do the update.it is totally worth getting a boot screen.iphone xs and carplay is spotless. sjoybring has all their instruction videos online and they are very complete.the screen resolution is great. the contrast is good and the the touch is very responsive.the UI is very stable, it hasn’t hung or rebooted at all. carplay connects pretty quick. i haven’t timed it but maybe a bit longer than buckling your seatbelt :)there’s plenty of 10th gen installation videos and walkthroughs. for cutting though i used a hacksaw handle and just made several off-vertical cuts to get the blade to lay horizontal giggity. put a rag in the dash and there won’t be plastic bits everywhere. for cutting the top of the trim panel i made a series of cuts on the same track (one after another) from one side to the other. this kept the paint from chipping off.for mounting i set it at an angle aimed towards me. since the radio is so short it will twist quite a bit before it starts to bind.the wiring diagrams are accurate but there are a couple of them so read the instructions several times beforehand. plan out your camera wiring.very responsive customer service, great support. thank you!

2016 Ford F350
The head unit works great. I installed it in my 2016 f 350 work truck. The Apple CarPlay feature works great and the sensitivity and screen clarity are both on point. The front and back cameras are both a great addition. The sound was very crisp out of the standard grade speakers in my truck. Very surprising for the price point. For my vehicle it was definitely necessary to buy the vehicle specific wire harness and antenna adapter. I also bought the dash kit through Scosche although the mounting brackets off of the old unit could probably be installed on the new one and mounted fine. The new SJoy unit comes with a detachable frame that would probably work. So it's a possibility that you can get away with not purchasing the $30 dash kit. The wiring harness wires have to be connected individually (about 14 wires) either directly from the existing vehicle harness (old plug cut off and wires connected to SJoy unit) or the vehicle specific harness (purchased separately.) The camera wires have to be spliced into your reverse hot and ground wires in order for the cam to automatically turn on when put in reverse. It's not difficult, but will have to be done right or problems could occur.Overall the installation was simple with the help of your tube, but if you're not handy it's probably going to be easier to pay someone to install it. One guy in the reviews paid over $500 for his install so make sure you get a labor quote BEFORE the work is done. Very happy with the purchase so far and would definitely recommend.
