Good pantry item. I keep several cans on hand for times we do not have fresh mushrooms available. Fine to sauté in butter for over a broiled or bbq steak or add to a casserole, stew or soup.

I made beef stroganoff and it turned out delicious. I put the ones I had left in a clean jar and put it in the fridge and two weeks later I used them to make chicken dish.

the mushrooms are consistant in size so adding them to a dish is easy and you don't have to worry about cooking times. The mushrooms are tasty and lend themselves to being served with light seasoning.

Update:For the first time, the cans were protected well and they did not arrive badly dented. I hope this continues.

I enjoy these and use then in many recipes.

The olive oil is great, mushrooms are excellent, and the Really Useful Boxes are super when not damaged. The canned mushrooms arrived on time based on subscription. None of the cans of mushrooms leak, but 3 of the 4 cans are dented due to terrible packing. Damaged products from Amazon are becoming the norm (olive oil, mushrooms, Really Useful Boxes). Someone in the packing area has to 1) pick a box that perfectly “fits” the product and 2) then wrap the product so it can’t slide around inside the shipping container. Allowing the product(s) to slide around inside the box is almost a guarantee to get damaged/ broken products.
