This works great, no issues. I like being able to water straight to the roots. The shaft arrives in 2 pieces for shipping, but the ends just screw together, and it has not leaked.

I've tried others and the way this one is set up, I prefer it since there's less leaks.

This is a well built tool. It is made from stainless steel and has strong welds. It looks like it has been electropolished because of the smooth finish. There is a cone shaped tip that allows easy insertion into the ground. The plastic device for mixing chemicals is well built as well. I was able to deep feed my sick pine tree in just a few minutes. There are three settings (low, medium, and high) for how much chemicals you want to put into the ground. The clear plastic container shows how how fast the chemicals are being mixed but it could be larger. I had to refill the container quite often. The insertion tube could be longer for deeper penetration. Sometimes the water would come out of the ground where the tube was inserted - I just stood on either side and that stopped the water from coming out. I think this device is a good addition to any serious gardeners tools.

The concept looks good. Quality is really bad. The first delivery had a bad threat on the fertilizer adapter and never went straight in.The replacement was even worse. With and without Teflon paper, the threat connecting the two pieces of the spike were bad. I could not fully screw the lower part in.To make things worse I ended up with cuttings of the threat in my finger... And a tiny narrow one that is literally impossible to remove.Two shipments, both crappy quality --> going back
