According to most of the places I’ve lived, doorknobs are OUT and levers are IN- even front door levers that unlock the deadbolt just from turning the handle!! This will not do because my clever girl has learned to open doors. I… (well, my bf) had to replace the lever with this knob to keep her from escaping! She thinks she can make it on the outside. This looked very easy to install when my bf did it …and also easy to uninstall when we moved out.

If your thinking about it, go for it. It was 21$ when I got it. I can see why it’s amazons choice. I’ve had this lock for 4 years, and although its very cheap, it’s also very reliable. One time I locked myself out and it took a hundred wacks with the back of a hammer to get in my room. So good, I purchased a second. Still going strong today

I have an office that adjoins my shop. I try to keep my office a bit neater than my messy shop. To that end I have installed double doors between the two. The doors have bullet latches at the top and so all I need are dummy knobs. These inexpensive and nice looking knobs fit the bill! Recommended.
