This product works very well but it isn't as simple as just brushing it on, sanding, and staining. The primer will take stain but you have to do some extra work to get it match (extra stain, letting it sit longer etc.) I find it works best of you have to do the entire piece or very small areas. Larger areas never match quite right. Good product but spendy.

Love that it allowed me to make a fiberglass door look like wood
