AlessiReplacement Bird Whistle for 9093 Michael Graves Kettle

This is my fourth Alessi whistle bird! I keep walking away from the kettle and after the water boils off, the poor little bird melts. My fault! So I order another and hope to behave better in the future. It is a great whistler!

The t-pot would not be the same without it. I bought extra and after loosing a few. They will out live your pot for sure. They have different colors too now. Expensive, but worth it.

This fits the Alessi teapot, works great and is very cute. But as others have stated, it does interfere with pouring the water out of the teapot. Not really necessary as you can hear the water boil without it. But if you are in another room having the whistle can be handy. You'd just have to remove the bird to pour out the hot water. I just leave mine off, but I am happy to have it in case I want my teapot to whistle.

The teakettle came with a whistle and didn’t work. So I bought another one does the same thing doesn’t work.

Works like it should.

I love this product and hope to keep it as a backup for when things go off… I’m carefully using my bird whistle and my Michael Graves kettle… please respect my privacy now…It’s important I keep my products safe.Thank you in advance..Bonnie Hall

I had been looking for a replacement of the one that I melted when I forgot that the kettle was on and it boiled dry(oops!), but the prices I found online were crazy, ranging from $50.00-$100.00! Granted, that was several years ago, and I gave up looking for a better priced replacement, but something reminded me about trying again and I found it here on Amazon for a great price. I was worried that it might end up being a cheap copy, but it is the the exact part that I was looking for, so if you destroyed the one that came with your tea kettle like I did, or lost it, or what ever, this is the solution.
