Nice design, works great!
Save yourself some money: research the typee of faucet you need to replace and purchase it yourself. Do not ask the plumber to do so-----unless there is the benefit of the professional discount. I saved money by finding what I need here and it was delivered quickly. It is very, very easy to use and made life easier after the long term leaky faucet. The spray and overall quality is very good.

I dislike doing Plumbing, But this was easy
As I said in the Headline... My dislike Boarders on Hate to do Plumbing... After many many renovations etc... I always had difficulty with Plumbing... I needed a new Kitchen Faucet Set... But I could not get a Plumber over the Holiday's for such a small job...I said, what the Heck.... so I did it myself... The hardest part was removing the Old Faucet...Buying a Moen... made this an absolute pleasure to do... Even with my bad hands... :-)

So Far So Good
The faucet arrived quickly (Good job, Amazon!) and I installed it right away. It's an attractive design but not terribly artistic. It basically looks like a faucet . . . a nicely styled faucet . . . but still a faucet. It replaced a fairly new Delta "Diamond Seal" faucet that had started dripping shortly after it was installed. I probably could have got replacement parts for the old one but I had lost confidence in the design. The last few faucets I've bought were made in China. The box for this one says that it was assembled in the USA from foreign and domestic parts. I'll take that as a step in the right direction.I've installed a couple of more or less equivalent grade Moen faucets in the past, so I thought I knew pretty much what I was getting. Although it looks similar to the older models, this one is quite different. Plumbing manufacturers now need to make their products completely lead-free and this has lead to some major design revisions to accommodate new materials. The main structure of the faucet appears to be anodized aluminum rather than brass. I didn't disassemble the faucet, but I expect that most of the wetted parts are plastic. The Delta faucet I removed had a plastic base and mounting parts. It flexed easily in normal use, giving the faucet a flimsy feel. The metal structure of the Moen makes it feel quite solid. The water connections weren't copper as in the past. They were hoses covered in braided metal with the swivel compression nuts built in. The hoses were quite a bit longer than what I needed. I couldn't shorten them, so I looped them. That wasn't a problem. I was able to arrange the loops so they were tucked up out of the way of anything else. The sink sprayer attached without tools. The faucet works very smoothly and has good temperature control. The sink sprayer seems to be either completely on or off. Flow rate needs to be adjusted at the main lever. The action of the lever is a little different than what I'm used to. When the faucet is turned all the way on, the lever points almost straight up so it's not very easy to change the temperature with the faucet running wide open. It seems much easier to turn the faucet off, swivel the lever, and turn it back on. I'm not saying that's a negative. It's just a little different. I'll adjust. So far, so good. I may be back in a few months to update this review if anything changes.

This is easy to DIY!
I took out an old American Standard three hole w/ side sprayer which was the worst part of the replacement. The new Moen had easy installation instructions and a basin wrench was only needed for the removal of the old faucet. I still recommend watching a video on the installation so you can see it done. I liked hearing how to determine which is the hot and which is the cold water taps (the hot is the tap the dish washer is also attached to), when you are under the sink it gets a little confusing. It is now 2025 and have had no problem with the side sprayer and if the previous reviewer has hard water, they might try putting the spray head in a glass of vinegar and really hot water then leaving it there for a while. That would take care of the scale that might have developed.

Faaaar Superior to the Delta!
Updating the kitchen and was told by my plumber to get a MOEN. Boy, was he right! That old DELTA [https://www.amazon.com/Collins-Single-Handle-Kitchen-Matching-440-WH-DST/dp/B002LKU4VC/ref=sr_1_2?crid=EK6N9DGEY5L9&keywords=delta%2Bfaucet%2Bwith%2Bspray%2Bin%2Bwhite&qid=1702094004&sprefix=delta%2Bfaucet%2Bwith%2Bspray%2Bin%2Bwhite%2Caps%2C256&sr=8-2&th=1} after just 5 years was so difficult to use the handle. The top of the faucet got dinged so easy, because of the very light construction of the whole unit.It would actually rock the base plate and you were unsure whether of not it was going to bend in half. The MOEN is so much more sturdy; the handle and the faucet itself are silky smooth to move left and right and forwards and backwards. The base plate is veeery durable and stable. My only knock is that the sprayer is not "serrated" at the bottom [where it mounts to the sink] so it swivels all over; when you need to use it you have to pull it up and grab the sprayer in whatever position it is in, then point it in the direction you need it. The DELTA had grooves on the sprayed base, so that it was "at the ready" as soon as you needed it. Small kvetch! The DELTA is now $180+ and the MOEN is a bit over $100. The choice is so easy...

Works great!
Our prior kitchen faucet leaked, and this was a great replacement! I ordered through Amazon as my local hardware store did not have the faucet required
