V4 Tuning Kit - Bosch eBike Tuner (2013-2023) - Smart Chip, Speed Unlock - Limiter Remover

This was something ive been thinking about for a while but really wanted to gauge how many people were getting the error's that cause the motor to drop into limp mode. It seems a small percentage do, but not enough to put me off. So glad i got this, the motor limit is a pain, i dont want to go crazy speeds, but when the limit hits its like you have hit the brakes which i found dangerous for me being someone that likes to pop the bike around a bit. Riding with some pace towards jumps and drops caused me to slow just at the last min with the limiter kicking in which is not ideal when preparing to do these things. Also when riding with normal bikes and accomplished riders i cant keep up as the limiter was kicking in and making it feel like riding with my brakes on, while they all pulled away. With this attached i have the feeling of a standard analogue bike, when i pedal faster i go faster, simple! Simple to install but main issue is the space in the motor housing, can be a bit tight and i did pinch the cable trying to get it in, but luckly not exposing the wire. Plan where its gonna fit in and cable tie where you can. Only other concern is how waterproof it is. Obviously in the plastic motor cover but that not water proof so only time will tell, and its currently dry as a bone on my rides at present. All in all a cracking bit of kit, it has made my rides feel more like my old analogue bike, happy customer.

Fantastic!!!! This is soooo good!! I no longer hit that invisible 15mph wall. Makes my riding so much more enjoyable. I can only reach 20 mph but a man could probably reach around 25mph. However you would probably need to fit a bigger chain ring for more speed. But not all ebikes are mountain bikes so this chip will work on any Bocsh motored bike. Happy riding 😁

So easy to install. On checking installation videos,instructions and reviews before purchase It seemed a bit complicated but it’s basically 1 bolt, 4 plug in connectors, a long press of the - (minus) button and a few presses of the + button to set your preferred max power you are good to go. Less than 10 min all in.Gets a bit more complicated if you want to set a pass code but not needed in my opinion (just a faff about really as a long press of the - button toggles between factory and max power.Having the actual chip in hand you really notice the exceptional quality also.Do NOT hesitate it is well worth the money!

This unit removes the legal speed restrict ionor on Bosch crank motors. It is normally (legally) set at 15 mph but can be raised to around 25 mph. It is illegal to use this on a road in the UK or EU.It’s absurdly easy to fit. 2 screws to remove the cover on my active line motor. Unplug 2 connectors identified via the really clear manual (you get instructions in German but are given a QR code which takes you to an English manual you can download & save). Plug the unit into the identified sockets & the loose connectors you just disconnected into the sockets on the unit.That’s it. It’s set to 19.8 mph as standard but is easy to raise or lower. It can also be switched off to disable should anyone check. Of course I only use this off road (Officer). You need to check the gearing on your bike to ensure you aren’t pedalling like a rabbit on heat if you raise the limit too much. You also need to make sure it fits your motor for the year of manufacture.It’s expensive but if you want assistance pedalling a bit higher than the legal limit it’s perfect.

Been thinking of getting one these for some time, took the plunge and it’s an absolute game changer. Little bit fiddly to fit just make sure you take a few pics of the motor before pulling any connectors. I have a Scott sub sport 10 and was a little worried as I had it serviced a few months back and motor firmware was updated but no issues. I thought it would drain the battery quicker but not noticed any less battery range. Early days but can highly recommend

Took about 10 minutes to install, instructions are nice and clear.Easy to activate, and so far I've had no issues with error codes. Have left mine set to 20mph and only really activate it on the road section back from the local MTB trails.Really helps get the boring stuff out the way quicker and it's nice not hitting that harsh cutoff of the bosch motor.

Great item so much better than staying at a speed of 15.5 mph, ive set it to 21.7 mph and had no errors so far, brilliant peace of equipment, very happy with my purchase.

Very very fiddly to fit inside crankcase of your. EScott … can be done without pulling out crank…….patience…gentle touch and long nosed pliers to gently insert.Results are awesome .. knock back speed limit max down to 75 percent to avoid any risk of errors300 miles since fitting most of this off road well pleased to catch girlfriend on her std bike at twice the price
