I've liked this so well, I have three of them now. One camera I use is possibly heavier than their suggested weight. It's considered a prosumer camera - semi-professional. I don't tilt very much on that one and there's not been a problem - even though it's a bit heavy. The other two cameras are smaller, and they pan & tilt the full distance. As I said, when I saw the quality of this, I bought another, and then another.

Just got it today, so I haven’t had a lot of time to try it out, but so far very happy. I put my GoPro 6 on it to test. The movement is smooth, the remote works well. The base can be attached to a tripod or light stand. I see a lot of opportunities to use this, especially in places where you need to adjust the image, but it’s not easy or practical to be next to the camera. My test was on the dash of a car panning between driver and passenger. I’m looking forward to putting it to use.

I purchased the unit to film my kid's basketball games (pre-High School). Overall the unit performs pretty well. The construction is not super sturdy, but it does the trick. I use the unit with the Asako V50 Pro unit which weights just under 3 oz. Some reviews indicate that the motor sound interferes with the filming. I only use the unit to film pretty noisy basketball games and therefore this is not an issue at all.The main concern with the unit is the rotation speed (panning from side to side). I set the unit on a tripod with the appropriate look-down angle, so I only have to rotate the camera from side to side. It is not super-fast and therefore, at times I can’t rotate the camera fast enough to catch fast breaks. “Normal” action up and down the court is not an issue. For the price, I couldn’t locate any better unit.The remote works well. I usually stand about 6-10 feet away from the tripod mounted unit.Decent construction. Good value. Rotation speed is good but not super-fast.Update: unit malfunctioned after three months. However, the seller has been very responsive and replaced the unit immediately.

Good product, but if you are looking for smooth pan and tilt, this is not the one, is not precise, body is made of plastic, so its a bit fragile, I am using it with a small JVC camcorder, it does the job, but wish it would be more precise, also does not have a speed control, so your motion is one speed, overall for the price I paid, it does the job

I have a small AKASO Brave 4 Camera, so it is not heavy for this tilt and pan mechanism, Used with a phone app for the camera, then when the camera is placed 12' high on a fence for filming a tennis match, I can easily tilt, pan and move the camera for the best tennis court angle, with the remote control. Just what I needed.

There seems to be a bit fragile but working great...

The media could not be loaded. useless for anything heavier than a cell phone. there is too much play in the head- it just flops over. tried it with Sony a6000 without lens. see video. don't buy.

I attached light weight cameras to two of these and the performance was sluggish and erratic. Often the tilt would not move from the full up or down position. The cameras are within the weight listed in their information. The device is very delicate, much to delicate to be used as a portable device to be moved from place to place. One unit came apart where the camera mount connects to the base. The movement is not smooth and cannot be used while recording or during live video, you must shift to another camera, move it if you can and then go back to that camera. Very poor for tracking.
