Create Your Own Board Game (Blank Checkers & Chess Set)

Brilliant. Certain pens can smudge and not seem to dry, as a left handed person this was a struggle I was used to. I tried different pens and found ones that worked for me and the materials on the board. Really good fun and all the pieces were there and of high quality.

I made a personalized Clue game for my boyfriend's birthday during a COVID lockdown. It was so much fun to make but it took me 8 full days (thank goodness I wasn't allowed to leave the house). I used permanent markers and acrylic paints. I had initially wanted to colored pencils and wax crayons and these definitely would not have worked on the board. I am glad that I got the deluxe version as it had more cards so I ended up making a personalized deck of cards for mother's day as well. I personally wouldn't consider this a kids activity if you want it to look good and make sense when playing it as its a very involved creative activity.

Really Fun idea and can be pretty creative, would be slightly better if the money was sized up on the coloured sheets like the rest is.

This is a really versatile set, with everything you need to create a game. It is compact and easy to carry. The board is a good size, and feels sturdy, though the folds feel like they could tear with a strong pull or excessive bending. The box is great - sturdy and smooth. The set comes with game pieces, a spinner, cards, two normal dice and some blank ones, and the board. I've used my set to make a TTRPG, though i haven't used the included dice and pieces. The board warped slightly after a few coats of masonry paint, but i piled heavy stuff on top and it is now fine.

Took a lot of work but provides all the basic ingredients to make a great game!

Had a great time making my own game. One thing to note the card is durable but that means it is also resistant to some inks. Easy to smudge

This was a great set! I used it to create my own monopoly which turned out better than I had hoped it would! Everything was sized great and the quality was pretty good. This definitely kept me busy during our lockdown here in Guernsey and I would highly recommend this set to anyone (not just children!) who want to get a bit creative. :))

I originally bought this for my oldest stepson as a Christmas gift because he had started making board games on paper and I wanted to get him something more durable to work with. It was a big hit and I’ve bought him a couple more as presents since then. Now his younger brother asked for one, so this is I think the 3rd or 4th one I’ve purchased! Great gift!

This came exactly as pictured and better quality than expected! It’s a great item, especially for the price!I bought it to make a game for a gift. And now my kids want to make their own games! I think it would be a great activity to teach kids about game play and such.
