80'' 2M Mini Steel Tape Measure Plastic Shell with Keychain Functional Mini Retractable Measuring Tape Keychain (Transparent, Inch/cm)

My wife, God bless her, has carried a small tape measure around in her purse for me for years now. It seems like whenever we are out shopping for just about anything besides clothes, I am always needing to measure something. One day I decided to do her a solid and buy her a new tape measure for her purse. (This was just after I bought her a new drill press)! Seriously, she did, in fact, appreciate the gesture.This one replaced one that was a little bigger and was pretty ugly! We have had it for a while now and it has held up well. She likes it because it is as small as you can get and still be able to read accurately with our old eyes and looks pretty good.I guess that the only thing that I would be critical of is that it does not have a locking function. That being said, we would trade the locking function for the smaller size any day.I even bought a couple of them for myself. One for my desk and another "Just in case".If you are like me and have a thoughtful caretaker this might be a nice present, although maybe not for Christmas or Birthdays!

Small physical size, clear measurement marks and easy pull out and retraction.Great to carry around to have accurate measurements.

Can't use it because they used some type of oil inside of it and it smells terrible and gets on your hands/fingers whenever you use it. I gave it 3 stars because it'd probably be fine in a shop/garage setting or such where your hands will be dirty/oily anyway (although I don't think it screams durable for heavy use either) and it was cheap. But I bought it to use at my desk/pc at home.

I dislike paying $8.99 and it was all in pieces in a bag whats with that!!! I'm returning not worth a buck.

Like that these feel sturdy and compact for a key chain. This has already come in handy when I’m at Menards

Very easy to use and mechanics work well. It is nice to have a measuring tape handy when shopping for household odds and ends.

I like having a tape measure right on my keychain so I can measure items I'm considering buying. Handy for other quick measurements, too.

Nice seems durable I have had it on my key chain for months now and it still looks new.
