I use this on all my vegetables and flowers. It greatly enhances the soil micro biome and brings your soil to life—growing nutritious food. I keep an extra bag on hand so I never run out.

This bag of fertilizer comes in a nice printed resealable bag with lots of information printed on it. The directions call for just a few tablespoons depending on your application, so this bag should go far on a home garden and would last a very long time for indoor plants.I found this bag very difficult to open. When I pulled the plastic strip off the bag from the opening notches I found that the bag was still sealed. I used scissors to cut along the cut mark across the bag and it was still sealed. I had to use scissors to cut into the resealable strip to get to the part of the bag that was not sealed together. The bag did reseal but this is not ideal.The bag mentions that it is made from turkey litter. It definitely smells like it! Its the same odor you catch when you drive by a commercial chicken or turkey house. Its not a problem for fertilizer to smell bad but just be aware if you are going to use this indoors.

I recently acquired some small tropical fruiting shrubs that I'm going to try growing in pots. My usual fertilizers would make the fruit not safe to eat, so I decided to give this a try. I've read good things about Purple Cow fertilizers so I'm hopeful this will work well. I like that it is natural, organic, and has mycorrhizal fungi. The first bag I received broke open during shipping and was leaking out of the box. The replacement bag was fine.

The instructions are easy, but do not over-feed. It can however, be used in combination with your own household compost. I have a Vitamix composter, so I can use my beds within a 2-3 weeks of amending the soil, but if you are putting fresh compost down, bury it and wait 2-3 months.

My wife needed more fertilizer for her vegetable garden, so I ordered this bag for her from Purple Cow. After reading the information on the bag and comparing this fertilizer to the other brand she normally uses, she said this was perfect for her vegetables. If this fertilizer works as well as she expects, she plans to order a few more bags. The instructions on the bag are very clear about how much to use depending on what type of plants you are growing, plus there is additional information and a helpful video on the product page.

So far so good with this fertilizer. Our garden has been growing nicely and we have no complaints. We've used it across a wide range of vegetables, ornamentals and herbs and it does seem to be a great all-purpose fertilizer. Also very happy it's organic and thus we feel safe using it on vegetables we're planning to eat.

I had to cut the bag open, but it was easy to broadcast. It sounds good--though I'm curious about the feather meal. Good addition to to the soil, but it has to be watered in.
