I will miss my little helper
When I bought this I really didn't have any expectations. I thought maybe if it does stud finding and laser measuring that's great. However, this wonderful piece of equipment does so much more than I could have ever expected. It actually does everything it claims. Wonderful tool and you cannot go wrong for the price. Unfortunately, due to my careless and forgetfulness I left meter at a customers house never to be seen again. I miss my boy. Hope he is being treated well. Maybe it's time for me to get another one.

it really is 3 in one
I bought this to find studs on my walls after removing exterior siding for a replacement patio cover. It also accurately measured the distance of rafters from outside ledger to the exterior wall. The only thing that was a little confusing is that instructions are limited, but after playing with it for awhile I could see what it was trying to say. When measuring angles or distance the buttons are the direction you read them, but when finding studs or wires you turn the device upside down and the screen shows the studs. It found a vent pipe in the wall as well as a metal strap under the siding. I really like that the device is rechargeable. Invariably, when I have gone to use my old stud finder the batteries would be dead and I wouldn't have the right size. So far after using it for my project and storing it for 2 months, there is still 3 bars on the battery indicator. The laser was fairly bright, but difficult to see in full sun. It acurately determined the angle of the roof for slope. The level was helpful for mounting a tv. The color screen is clear. Overall, I would buy

SUPER Handy! Compact and Affordable
Why did I buy?Stud finders can be hit or miss. They either work or they don't, and the ones that DO work may not always be calibrated correctly. I wanted to upgrade my old stud finder with a more reliable product. I came across this little guy and thought, "Oooooooh! Lasers and leveling... and measuring, oh boy!" I found a device that was practically three tools in one. A few clicks later, and the tool was on its way. What do I like about it?-3 tools in one. I like the convenience of using a single tool to find studs, level and plumb my projects, and measure distance. Though this tool won't completely replace a standard tape measure, it still finds a place in my tool arsenal regardless.-Rechargeable lithium battery. Nowadays rechargeable batteries are replacing disposable batteries in many devices. Plugging the tool into the wall or a battery pack to charge rather than finding fresh batteries is definitely a benefit. What do I not like about it?-Accuracy. Many multi-tools suffer from diminished capability in one or more areas, making them the typical "jack of all trades, master of none." As mentioned above, this tool will not replace a tape measure entirely--as it only measures distance rather object length. The stud-finding capability could use just a touch better accuracy to gain a fifth star; I'll have to test it out more.-Complexity. Unless one has patience, reading the instruction manual before using is very adviseable, as working through the menus without knowledge of the system could be a little confusing at first. Luckily the manual is very short and straight-forward. New owners will be up and running within 5 minutes.Bottom Line:My "likes" are truly genuine, and my "not likes" are pretty trivial. If you're looking for a new level and are on the fence about getting this tool, consider giving it a try. It's convenient, compact, and rechargeable! I've had this for three months now, and I have no regrets.I hope this review helps you to make an informed decision.

Not perfect but pretty dang good
I was shopping for a stud finder (I got tired of looking for one of the several that I have bought over the years). This one was a lot more expensive, but I was never very happy with the others that I bought for about half the price.Pros - What I like:1. Rechargeable LiON battery. My previous stud finders all used a 9v battery. What? Is this 1965?2. When in Stud finder mode, I don't have to push any buttons. The old stud finder had a button on the side that was awkward to use and would likely release in the middle of a measurement.3. Angle measurement. Works pretty well. I noticed one person's comment that this thing would not work as a level. I guess they did not realize that a level is just a go/no-go angle measurement (zero degrees).4. The distance measurement works amazingly well. It is not a replacement for a tape rule or scale, but for rough measurements, it is really handy.Cons:1. User interface is not exactly intuitive.2. Price is a bit high

Im not sure if i want to trust this anymore. That is clearly a wire and not a stud. 🫠
The media could not be loaded. I dont feel confident in the stud finder anymore after finding this out.All the other instruments are now up for doubt in my mind.Might have to look elsewhere for a studfinder that doesn't tell me incorrect readings.

Useless as a stud finder.
I purchased this as a stud finder, but I can't even get it to enter stud finding mode. The instructions have poor English grammar, spacing and punctuation. The directions on how to enter stud finding mode do not work. Useless garbage. The distance finding works, the digital level is not terrible.
