This is my first experience with this type of rolled up corn snack (I've never had Takis) and it was a pleasant one. The seasoning on these is complex with a lot of savory notes (especially from the tomato powder and garlic) and a citrus kick from the lime which hits at the end. The lime really balances out all of the savory flavors beautifully and the toasted corn flavor was strong enough to come through the spices. The heat is on the milder side. It's present, but not so bad that your mouth is on fire and there isn't a huge build-up over time unless you're gobbling them down without pause. The saltiness level is on point.Mine arrived in good condition in a huge plastic bag inside of a box. None of them were damaged. They were fresh and very crunchy. This was a really satisfying snack in terms of both texture and flavor.

I got open bags, very poor quality

My son is obsessed with Taki's so I thought that we'd tried these. He switched to this brand with no issues and love these just as much. For me I noticed that this brand's rolled tortilla's are way more uniform in both shape as well as coating of spice powder. I personally like it when there are pieces of Taki's with more spice powder on one or another. As to taste these seem to have very similar flavor profile in terms of acidity and spice but with just a little less spice so they don't taste as hot. Overall though there is so little difference that if we were to refill our pantry for these spicy rolled tortilla snacks, we would probably look at the price and choose the brand that was cheaper.Taqueritos Rolled Tortilla Chips in Chile Toreado Flavor 8 oz, 20 Pack

I mentioned the packaging in my title only because these come in a thin cardboard box that didn't hold up well somewhere along the line of storage/shipping/delivery. The box looked mostly okay but was partially open, and one of the bags had ruptured and chips were throughout the box. Four more bags had lost pressure, so I don't consider them safe to eat. However, Amazon is great of making things right, but I think that these could have been packaged better.Now, as for the snacks - very good! If you've ever had Takis, I think that you'll find these to be a bit less spicy with more of a corn flavor coming through. I find these similar to Chipoys "fire red hot" variety but with slightly less corn flavor. Personally, I don't like Takis because I find them to be too spicy, so I'm a big fan of these and Chipoys. These have good flavor and spice, but not so much spice that I can't enjoy the underlying corn flavor and am in discomfort after a handful of them. The crunch is great, too - not hard to bite through, but enough resistance and snap to satisfy. Overall, just a really great snack.While the packaging box didn't hold up, the bags that survived are just fine. They are nicely colorful, and they kept the snacks totally fresh on the inside.

I’ve gotten these exact chips and exact order before but it felt a bit light. Idk

I ordered these chips and couldn't wait to get them! They finally arrived a couple hours ago and I tried them right away. Plantain chips are thicker and harder than most chips, so often taste very plain and bland to me. Luckily this was NOT the case with these. They are VERY flavorful and tasty and come in quite a large bag. I would highly suggest ordering these if you are a fan of chili and lemon as I have nothing but good things to say about these as I am sitting here thoroughly enjoying and chomping away on them!

These things are way too hot for me, to the point of being inedible. I had one friend who actually threw up from how spicey these are. On top of it, the flavoring used on these chips tend to hang around for awhile, making you suffer well after you've eaten these.

Yum!! These are delicious. The flavor is a lot like classic Doritos but with spice (not too much—just right) and lime. They pair great with refried beans or crumbled over taco salad and have a terrific crunch. Note: the powder stains white red, so be careful with clothes.
