Pieces stay on backing.
The decal has 2 pieces, the "screw" of the compass and the "G" which are not attacked. Trying to get them to adhere to my tailiights were a real challenge. The "screw" on the compass stayed on the backing several times, causing me to have to continually press on the backing and then the lower parts of the decal wrinkled due to being pressed and then withdrawn. The "G" was really hard to get to adhere. It wanted to stay on the baking. All in all, they looked good on the backing, but the time and effort it took to install was not worth it.
