Pieces fit poorly
Gorgeous puzzle, lovely artwork, informative and educational, with fun narrative snippets about the tree species depicted, and just the right amount of difficulty: enough to keep you challenged and engaged, but not so much as to drive you crazy. The only reason I do not give this 5 stars is because the pieces are poorly cut. For one, there is very little variation in the size and shapes of the pieces, the tabs, and the sockets, allowing a great pieces to potentially fit an available space without them actually belonging in that place, making it frustratingly difficult to know whether you've really got the right piece. The pieces are also cuts so loosely, the tabs wobble in the sockets and make it impossible to pick up a cluster of assembled pieces to move them without the assembly falling apart back into its constituent pieces.Nevertheless, a fun puzzle and one I recommend, I just wish they'd paid a bit more attention to the machining side of production.

Beautiful illustration
There is a fold out like most puzzles have but this is expanded to include names of trees common and scientific, region of origin, and some uses or facts. I planned to share with family for thanksgiving activity but will be assembling this one early.

Exquisite!
Absolutely gorgeous, high quality puzzle that includes a nice large poster—very suitable for gifting. Puzzle has so much visual interest; I’ve yet to find another one that even comes close. It was challenging, but well worth the effort!

Harder than it looks but beautiful.
Gorgeous art. Piece shapes are very uniform- all basically the same size and configuration. High quality materials.

A fantastical tribute to our forests.
Beautifully drawn, handsomely packaged, helpfully documented-- and a challenge to assemble. I don't mind the strategically designed piece-cutting, which raises the difficulty. There is little grip between pieces, so that moving assembled fragments can be aggravating (some pieces I have had to re-attach 4-5 times). The beauty of this tribute has the desired effect-- I intend to read-up on forestry when I complete the puzzle.
