I don't normally write reviews for products that I purchase on Amazon but this one impressed me.I first heard about SUPCASE when I purchased a protective case for my iPhone a few years ago. I was pleased with them then so I figured I'd give them an opportunity to do the same for my new Macbook. I was not disappointed.The case was easy to install. It just snapped right into place. It fits perfectly and appears to be very high quality. I'm under no illusion that I'll be able to drop my MBP off of a building or anything but it should protect it from dings, scratches, and slight falls.I read many of the reviews of the different cases before deciding which one to purchase. I saw complaints of them being too bulky on the sides, poorly secured to the MBP, too few clips, not fitting well, etc. None of these are true of this case.The portion of the case attached to the lid of the MBP has at least seven clips holding it in in place. They are low profile though and do not interfere with closing the MBP or seeing the display. The bottom part of the case has six clips holding it to the MBP. They are also low-profile and do not interfere with typing, etc. The other nice thing is that the sides of the case do not interfere with access to the ports.The only downside that I see for this case is that it is clear plastic on the top and bottom and I've noticed it picks up fingerprints and smudges quickly but the MBP also picks up those smudges and fingerprints without the case so its not a big deal.You will notice some weight added to your to your device. Any case that's going to protect the laptop is going to do that. I think that SUPCASE found the right balance between weight and protection. I feel confident that this will protect my MBP the way that I intedned.

Snug fit. And very durable. Makes the laptop bulkier but that is overcompensated by the fact that you no longer need to worry about your laptop incurring any damage. The cover is neat and can be easily cleaned. Though I would say it was pretty difficult to put it on because of its snug design… but overrall its worth the price.

Very durable, protective and easy to put on. Definitely adds some weight but peace of mind on my part knowing that it's protected. The color I chose actually arrived a more pink shade vs purple shown in website photo.

I have been through a number of protective covers for various Mac products. This is without a doubt the best that I have ever encountered. Start with the classy design and add the soft rubber-type material. This is well worth the extra bucks you will pay for this excellent product. Anything else is just cheap plastic and you will encounter potential fit problems and worry about its ability to protect your equipment.

I get lots of compliments on the red/black color scheme. The case is constructed well and fits like a glove. Plenty of space to plug into the ports and the bottom cover is well ventilated. It's easy to see the Apple on the MacBook Pro lid and the Space Black looks great. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the weight of the lid cover. It seems like my MacBook lid wants to close much faster and won't stay "barely" open. I'd still buy it again and feel like it protects my investment.

Nice snap on protection for my MacBook Pro. Cool color, size, at a great price. I’m a traveling DJ so this goes in and out of my bag a lot
