Super easy to set up!
Omgosh, so much easier to install than my Arctic king, I could not even believe it! The rollers are super smooth too.As someone else said, I had to have a neighbor cut off about an inch of the window insert because it was way to long for my standard windows. Works great so far, hope it lasts for at least 5 years for us.

Portable ac
Works pretty good for a small room. If you have a big room, you will need a larger one.

Works great
Works great for our bedroom. Is not as loud as some of the reviews made me worry, but isn't silent. Pretty easy to install. I am not well versed in installing things and made it work. I did have to figure out how to cut plastic so it would fit. Go team me! The only drawback so far is that the oscillating part of the fan stopped working, so now it only blows upwards. But still works fine. It's a good size, and has not had any leaking problems so far.

Good for helping out during my central air failed
This AC unit worked very well, but since I have not had a portable AC unit before, I did not order a large enough unit. It worked very hard and did help with the sweltering heat. But it would have been more efficient if I had ordered a larger unit. This was not the fault of the AC unit, just the one who ordered:-)

Shuts completely off when it reaches temperature...including the fan.
I bought a previous model a few years back, and I wore it out. (No complaints there, I ran it year around. It was a beast and I loved it. This newer version of the same model, however, gets to the set temperature and shuts off and then back on again when the room warms up. It does this in auto mode AND cool mode. The old one runs the way I want it: Fan only when it reaches the set temperature. I like the continuous air movement, and I am disappointed that the newer version shuts down completely. I suppose this is a new energy saver addition, but I do not like it.

Keeps my bedroom frigid in the 100 degree heat
I’ve had this for over a month now. I leave in a small home with a window unit on the other side of the house.. and to say that last year was unbearable in summer would be an understatement.I bought this and it’s significantly made my quality of life a lot better. I now sleep through the night without huffing and puffing in a humid room. It’s a little noisy but no more than a box fan I would say. Setup was a breeze and it was cooling the room 10 minutes after I got the box open. The design is very modern and sleek. I recommend it highly.UPDATE- I wanted to update this as I’ve had it for a few years. The unit still works flawlessly. The only thing that sucks (just a tiny bit) is having to drain the little bit of water from the rear bottom plug once in a while. Builds up over time. All you have to do is pull the bottom plug and let it drain into something and it’s usually very little. Would buy it again in a heartbeat.

Says programmable timer. Not so much.
The Amazon listing says; "Programmable Timer: Customize times to fit your schedule for immediate comfort when you get home and preset the unit to turn on and off in half hour increments." Doesn't that sound like you can program it to turn on an hour or so before getting to the office? Well, it doesn't. The feature is only "Delayed Start." You can set it to delay start for up to 24 hours. If you set it every afternoon to start the next morning, that would work, except YOU'D HAVE TO DO IT EVERY DAM DAY. I bought it specifically to set it up to run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday only. Read the exact quote from the listing. Doesn't that sound like it would have done so? Wasted a few hundred dollars. Not happy.

Great portable AC
Very quiet compared to other one I had and had to return as too loud and had bright blue digital lights The color of this AC digital output is green or faint yellow. It is not too bright at all and also has a sleep mode that dims the lights even more. So important for sleepers who cannot sleep with light. I feel I need to get a different window kit as my window is low to the ground and has a wide window sill so maybe next year will do that for now tape seals up issues. AC really cools.
