We lost our tags twice.
This is the -worst- product for attaching anything important to anything! We lost our dog's tags once because it busted open, and then a -second- time when the thing finally wore straight through at the bottom where the tags were hanging. It's a miracle we found the tags each time out on the road! I'm reluctant to buy any 'gadget' type link after this as there is no way we'll be lucky enough to find those tags a third time.I should mention; we had the item for five months when it wore straight through, though it was attached to a leash not a collar so it was only getting minor daily use rather than 24/7 use. We have a greyhound so this is a extremely mellow dog.

Love it!
This is a great way to not have to try and get the tags onto a ring. I love how quick and easy the Links-It is to use. The product is sturdy and we used it to attach my mom's service dog tags to her vest D-ring. I hate trying to get typical tag ring onto the D-ring and this made the task easy and quick. It appears very sturdy and I am positive it will last for a long time.

Very disappointed.
This did not last very long at all, the plastic is too weak to carry two tags. The middle part fell out and the tags fell off because the side came loose once the middle part fell out. Ordered a steel one. Very disappointed.

Super Strong, Lightweight and Well Designed.
This Links-It is very well designed. I appreciate the details that have been gone to in order to limit the possibility of tags coming off as well as make an easier to use link. There are 3 levels of locking mechanisms that have to be released in order for the link to come apart.- First the button lever on the side must be pressed in before:- Second the horizontal locking bar can be slid to the side before:- Third the interlocking prongs can be pulled apart.At first I wondered if brush or limbs or scratching could accidentally release the lock mechanism. Now I see that it would be really hard to make it open by chance. After repeated checking of the link, if one has come apart, other than structural failure, it probably wasn't closed properly. Despite the 3 operations to open it, it is surprisingly easy to do with human hands. Once you've done it one or twice it is a very simple process to accomplish.It is lightweight. It is also super strong. It looks like plastic but feels like metal. I can't bend or flex it with my fingers.I think this will last a very long time. Long after many collars have worn out. The great thing is that it is easy to transfer over and switch around. I really am impressed with the quality and design of this. 5 stars.
