DaVinci Maya Upholstered Swivel Glider and Ottoman in Cotton Weave, Greenguard Gold Certified

I’ve searched and searched for a rocker and glider for some time before I finally ordered this one online.What was appealing to me was that it’s pretty, so can eventually be moved to a living space in our home and we can still get use out of it after it’s served its purpose in the nursery, and that it comes with an ottoman. Also, the pillow part that you put your back against seems super soft and comfortable per photos and per all the reviews I’ve read. And trust me- I’ve read MANY.What was great was that the chair and ottoman came fully assembled, which saved my husband from a project, and it truly is very comfortable.I’m 7 months pregnant and have sat in it a few times and love it. I’m pretty petite, 5’2” and have sat comfortably in it with a Boppy pillow on my lap, and if I’m sitting more relaxed, my head does comfortably rest against the back of the chair; however, I will note that if you’re taller and not as petite, you may want to opt for a chair like the DaVinci Olive or the DaVinci Piper because those are known to have higher / taller backs for taller persons.I’ll also note that I ordered the cream shade and it’s almost like a creamy / gray mixture, which I actually am happy with and prefer.I wanted a fabric that would clean up nicely and that was NOT microfiber, and while moving this chair into our son’s nursery, my husband had to remove the bedroom door to fit it through the doorway, and when he did that, his hands got dirty and the dirt was transferred onto the chair, but we just grabbed a damp cloth and it wiped right off, thank god, so that was nice!Hoping it continues to clean up easily and nicely, especially with it being such a light fabric color and with babies being so messy 🤔👀😂Overall, thus far, I’m very happy with my purchase and the price point. Hoping this chair and ottoman lasts us a good while.

This wasn't my first choice in rockers based on its looks alone, but a friend ordered one and shared that it was very comfortable (and no parts to put together upon arrival!) so we went for it. I was pleasantly surprised by the chair's sturdiness and aesthetic - both five stars. The cream color is very nice. Our nursery is quite small, and this chair is compact/fits nicely in the corner without taking up too much space, but is sturdy enough to hold my husband who is husky guy.

Edit.. after looking for more chairs I noticed the dimensions are all about the same. The biggest one I saw was 42” tall vs this chair which is 39.2”. Still the same width. Most of the other glider/recliners for nursery I looked at are between 34”-37”. So I do plan to keep it and I will say it’s extremely comfy even tho it’s short in the back for me.First, it’s my fault for not looking at the dimensions of the chair, however I expected it to be a lot bigger. The reviews were deceiving, especially the pictures. I’m very pleased with how comfortable it is but am considering returning just because of how small it is. I am going to attempt to post pictures, even though I can’t see exactly how at the moment. I am in them, as well as my 5yo & 1yo. My 5yo is 3’7”. I am 5’9”, 8mos preggo (sorry for my largeness), and I weigh 196lbs. The back of the pillow cushion comes to the top of my shoulders. There is NO neck support for me at all. It is also not very wide at all. I intend on having it downstairs in my living room so I can nurse comfortably and watch my other two children at the same time. I’m not sure I can do that with how small it is. I would have really liked for it to be wider.Second, the deliverer took the time to go down my driveway and drop this off by my garage. The sidewalk in front of my porch would have been easier on the deliverer and on us! Also, I am 8mos pregnant and had to help my husband carry it UP our steep driveway to the front porch and into our living room. Glad we weren’t planning to take it upstairs to the nursery. Also glad it didn’t rain before we could get it inside. It’s during quarantine so it’s not like we could have had someone come over and help us out.

this was purchased for my daughter's first baby nursery. The chair is very nice, and comfortable. It is easy to get out of with an infant in your arms. It even fits her 6-8 husband, although the back is far to low for him to rest his head, (not much will actually accommodate him). The cushions are firm and the fabric is nice, I consider it a great value for the price. It arrived perfect and was packaged well. It comes completely assembled plus the ottoman, and the seat cushion.I would recommend this product.

Purchased two of these chairs. One for my daughter who just had a baby and one for me. I especially like the swivel function of the chair. I had just a wooden glider with cushions and footstool but it's too difficult to get out of. I wanted a swivel glider and that's what I got. I just turn the chair (swivel) and step up. Love it.

I am so happy with this purchase. The chair is very sturdy feeling and the fabric is super cozy. Previous reviews mentioned that this was not cream as advertised. That’s why we picked it and I am very pleased with the grayish oatmeal color that it is. I’ve included a photo to show it next to our white nursery furniture. We love it!

Is it a “nice” chair? Yes. Does it look good? Yes. Is it more comfortable than a standard rocker/glider? Yes. Plus it already came assembled in box. So why is it just okay? Honestly, it the seat back were taller this review may be different. I’m 5’2 and my first response was it was it’s simply too short and I also feel like my body is at a weird angle when I place my feet on the ottoman. Then again my husband, who is 5’7, seems satisfied with it and he mainly does the bedtime routine so we have chosen to keep the chair.I will say the fabric has held up really well. Did I mention it looks super nice in the room.
