DeWalt DW705 Miter Saw Replacement Handle Assembly, Part 395674-02

Bought myself a new Miter saw. Bought this and replaced the cracked handle on my old saw and gave it to my daughter. Easy to replace, perfect fit, original quality for my 20 year old saw.

This is a replacement handle for my Saul that broke because brittle due to age. I was so relieved to know I could replace this and instead of throwing away the saw. Took about 40 minutes Make sure you get the new switch that goes with it it is slightly different than the original and the old switch does not fit well

The older Dewalt miter saws have a wider handle to fit the LONG TRIGGER ASSEMBLYThis has a narrower handle with a small TRIGGER opening.The rest fits perfectly, assembled with no problem and it works.

Took about 20 minutes to replace the handle. I have no issue with the quality. Seems to be equal to what was on my saw originally. Hint - After you open the old handle, take a picture of how the wires are routed before you remove the old handle. It will help installing the new handle. The only issue I had was that I stripped a screw that holds the handle to the saw, but that was my problem and had nothing to do with the new handle. Hint - when attaching the new handle, do not over tighten the screws, just make them snug. There are not that many female threads to hold the screws that holds the handle on the saw. If you over tighten them, you will strip it like I did.

Easy to replace. Just make sure your pay attention how electrical wired are tucked in.
