The netting is great. I have a few pond nets and I must say this one is the best I've used so far. Space between the lines is a bit larger but the netting itself is thicker than what I was using. All in all this is a nice net and plenty big. I have a Heron that likes to visit both my ponds each morning and just watch my fish. This net is what keeps my fish out of the Herons tummy.I'd give this net 5 stars if the spikes were any good. They provide very short plastic spikes that IMO just let down an otherwise great product. I use my own spikes which are much larger and metal.

Works great for keeping my neighbor's massive tree's leaves out of my pond. Very simple to set up, but "see-through" and "beautiful?" I don't think so. The net is very visible, especially on top of lighter colored rocks and reflective water. As soon as spring rolls around, this thing is gone. But another one will go on next year!It would be great if this was offered in different colors - charcoal, brick, light grey, etc. And it would be great if the netting was tighter as well (though I know that takes away from the aesthetic) - I've had smaller leaves fall through the net.

Cleaning leaves of muck out of my pond every spring became almost more of a hassle than it was worth.This net was a game changer. I bought a different one before and the holes were too small and too close together that snow piled up on it and caved it into the water. This one is perfect. It catches the leaves but doesn't get weighed down.The only thing I recommend is buying extra stakes to guarantee it is secured.But otherwise, this is a great value and will save you so much clean out time.

I just updated my pond and I like the mesh size as I introduced 7 more Koi , was easy as I have slate and rocks and seems when new Koi are added with out the net they will jump out until a family forms . ***** !

The photo looked like a much heavier weave than what was received, so I am a little disappointed. It works fine for keeping leaves out of pond, but is hard to work with as it is so thin and light that it doesn't lay well. Must stake down one edge before trying to pull across pond, then adjust positioning and re-stake, adjust, re-stake, adjust re-stake, etc. More tedious that using a heavier fabric.and tends to tear when pulling stakes up.

The net is find, the stakes are useless. I'm not sure what ground they could possibly be placed in and work. But I picked up some metal stakes at the local store and that works great. So don't expect much out of the stakes.

Good size for my Koi pond. Birds got my young Koi years ago, so this helps. Nice and strong, not too heavy and not to light. Will purchase again when the time comes to replace my older one. Now my fish are about 7 - 8 years old and about 2 feet long. I've seen birds eye them from above, but they haven't tried to go after them.

Does the trick. I thought the plastic stakes worked fine. Dimensions seemed off, as this was much longer than 20'. I found it hard to keep the netting taught over my koi pond.
