Great mic. Won’t gig without it!
Spent lots of time shopping for the perfect mic. Had it narrowed down to the V7, and the Beta 58. Watched tons of YouTube videos, and decided on the V7. Didn’t want to go with the Shure due to it seeming to be the cliche mic that everyone goes with. Don’t regret it at all. I love the V7, and I won’t gig without it. I’ve played gigs with full backline, and their own mics, but I still swap it out for my V7. Highly recommended!

Nice Mic
Just so you know, it really picks up highs and mids, you are going to have to do some serious adjustment to bring in Lows. And it's going to need to be pulled up on the gain. But the sound quality is immaculate and the build Is solid.

SM58 alternative
I bought this to fill out a space in my mic locker. I have SM58s and a Beta 58 but needed one more vocal mic so I thought I'd give this a try. To my ears (and those of my bandmates) it falls somewhere in the middle of the 58s - it's clearer and has more gain than an SM58, but not as good overall as a Beta 58. In my situation the backup singer adopted the V7, lead singer kept the Beta and the SMs are now for guests / spares. It appears to be as well constructed as the Shures, although I guess time will ultimately tell that story, and it looks cool also. For the price you really can't beat it.

My go to microphone on karaoke night.
Very happy with my purchase of this microphone. It’s what I use for my karaoke speaker. I’m very frugal and it’s the most I ever paid for a microphone but I’m glad I did.

Vocal mic addition
Have always been an SM58 lifer. The SE v7 checks all the boxes. Clean clean crisp sounding. Very well made . Reasonable price. The added straight edge to the capsule to prevent mic from rolling is a great addition. All mics should have that feature.
