Due to the software upgrade, the QR code in the user manual is no longer valid, you can search "Trail Camera Pro" in Google Play to download the application, or scan the QR code on the product details page to download, then please follow the steps below to connect the camera: 1. Connect the Bluetooth to turn on WiFi Step1: Turn on the trail camera Step2: On phone APP: Turn on the app and then click""TURN ON BLUETOOTH"" Step3: On phone APP: Choose the camera under device list 2. Connect WIFI Step1: On phone APP: TURN ON WIFI Step2: On phone WIFI Setting: Connect with correct WIFI hotspot Step3: Back to APP after WIFI successful connection, and then click ""+"" to connect.

Q: how long will batteries last?

So far if there is lesser activity the batteries would last over a week maybe even up to two or three but I wouldn't believe with lots of activity it would last pretty long where's the setup that uses the 8 double a batteries it allows half of a batteries to be reserved in case of need using this trail cam I have not ever ran out of battery power no matter how long I have left alone I'm used to check it daily and then started whacking off I need to go through 6000 pictures and video arm extended at 6000 do you got a big memory card in right now but that is even with rechargeable batteries I know it says not to use them but whenever you use batteries like candy with other devices you tend to start to buy packs of rechargeables just so you ain't the wrong way as many batteries and making more waste so if you would probably buy some of the newer top-of-the-line batteries it probably would last for a good long time
